Physical Description
Ethaefal –
Tall and statuesque with broad shoulders and flowing, blonde hair, the beauty of Yaruai’s Ethaefal features is spoiled by the cruel cast to his face, and ice blue eyes glare at the world. Tightly curling horns are a green pale enough to look white that darkens as they near his head. His coloration does not change with the seasons.

Charoda –
When night falls, so does the beauty of Yaruai’s form. In its place is the rubbery, smooth skin of his mortal Charoda body. In this form, he is still tall for the norm and has pale green skin with pronounced dorsal fins atop his head.

Character Concept
Flinging himself from the heavens in pursuit of a love that he no longer remembers, hate is all that Yaruai has left. Hate for the gods for abandoning him, hate for the world that he lost, hate for the world he has fallen into, hate for the inhabitants of that world. He is compelled to search for something he cannot remember.

Character History
In the realm of Syna, he was not one of the unlucky few souls to be plucked from the heavens and cast once more into the mortal realm. His lover however, was. Grief stricken but confident in both her ability to survive and his god’s ability to restore her, he waited.

She never returned, though. None of the fallen returned.

After five hundred years of waiting, his patience turned slowly into resentment. If the fallen could not return on their own, could the gods not extend the mercy of returning them? Eventually, he petitioned Syna for exactly that. However, the god would not return his lost love.

It was then that he made up his mind. If the gods would not reunite them, he would. In a fit of rage, he hurled himself into the rift and out of the heavens. Now, that rage is the only clear memory he has left.

After the fall, Yaruai wanders, searching for he knows not what. Nowhere can hold him for long, and so he heads on to the next city. Hating where he is, but hating where he was even more.
