Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

The shades of green and other colors of the residential flora were alluring to stare at and invited visitors of Verlyna's Emerald Pond to stop and inhale the fresh and crisp air. Unfortunately for Gloria, she couldn't feel the flow of air or taste the crispness of it. Not that she minded though, all that was on her mind was her next victim's demise by her hands and mind.

Which was shown by her soft, whispered poem, or song, as she stared at her reflection in the illusively beautiful and enchanting pond.

With enchanting eyes,
She will skin you alive.
With a mind most sinister,
She will make you feel a star,
Right before you wake up at a bar.
Blood and guts all around,
With knife in hand, bound
You will be executed like a rabid hound.

Her creepy melodiously sang poem was made to deaf ears for noone was around to hear it. Which was great for Gloria, she didn't want anyone to think she was crazy, now did she? No no, she wants everyone to think she is the friendly neighbourhood ghost, imcapable of hurting a living being. Ts ts ts, if only they would know.

[Flashback] Verlyna's Gaze ( Fela )

Postby Fela Meason on July 21st, 2011, 8:34 pm

31st Day of Spring, 508 AV

The weather was sensational in Alvadas. The mid Spring day carried with it a light breeze and warm feelings. The sun beat down on the trees and brought them to life in vivid color.

The young Kelvic, barely a season old, snuck away from her mother to enjoy the sights and sounds of this magical place. Not that her mother would notice, her addiction to Wildleash had left her immobile on the cottage floor in an almost vegetative state. A pliable expression worn on her face.

Orbs of light seemed to be carried with the breeze and drifted past Fela. Wonderment rose inside her and bubbled out in a carefree giggle as she chased the lights down the streets of Alvadas. The dancing moment held her attention and little else interested her. As the balls bounced and swayed in the breeze she chased and laughed and followed them to the edge of town.

Out here the roads were narrow and little more than cart tracks, wilderness was creeping in and taking over any signs of civilization. Abandoned houses were consumed by weeds and animals scurried to and fro in a search for food. A dangerous place for someone so young and naive. Further along the path she could hear the faint sound of water splashing on motionless rocks. Invigorated by the new discovery Fela pounded down the path towards the sound.

With the glimmer of water in her sight Fela did a small leap and tripped over the roots of a very large very gnarled tree. Fela examined her knee with curiosity, not too much damage. A voice tickled her ears and sent her looking around for the source.

With enchanting eyes...

She strained her ears to hear more but only inaudible noises drifted towards her. Crawling slowly to her hands and knees Fela continued down the path hidden by the roots of the nearby trees. At last the pond was in sight. Emerald green and brimming with life. The tiny waterfall feeding the pool was a sight to be seen, floating above the pool and seemingly unfed by any other source it poured a gentle flow of water into the pool. No stream led away and nothing else around it seemed to be thriving.

Fela next noticed the woman. Lovely and lithe she stood staring into the deep green waters of the pond. Her face was so sad and her skin was so pale, like looking into the shadow of a person. Her edges seemed blurred and Fela rubbed her eyes for fear that her eye sight was going.

At last Fela worked up the courage to speak. Fela spoke to the woman in common and hoped she understood.
Miss? Are you alright? I'm not here to hurt you. Fela slowly came up from behind the roots and walked slowly towards the ethereal woman.
