Name: Vira Oreleous Age: 23 Years Old, Born 8th of Summer, 488 A.V. Race: Charoda Physical Description: Vira is one of the taller Charodae at 5'5. Her body was built for elegance and speed. Slim in the shoulders and hips. She has strong condensed muscles from a life time of swimming and exploring. Her skin is rubbery to the touch and a deep shade of blue on the verge of black. Which is helpful camouflage for her night time escapades Her narrow face has a very exotic look. High cheek bones, soft protruding nose, large black eyes and a soft wide smile. If you were able to look past the very foreign look of her race. You could consider her pretty in her own right. Her “hair” consists of large fan like dorsal fins framing the side of her head. The fins themselves have spike like tips with thin pinkish membrane connecting them. Thicker fins without spikes or webs of membrane. Are on the center of her head. They jut out and grow longer as they reach the back of her head. Creating a very beautiful sleek kind of head dress. Typically Vira wears a very simple white cloth chest band, and a longer stretch of the same cloth. For a makeshift skirt. She ties it with a belt of thick resistant material similar to leather. The most noticeable thing about her clothes. Is the many trinkets of bones, both animal and humams. Small shards of dull metal and even some coins. All tied into the belt. These trinkets, are all the things she has collected over time from various subjects she has dissected, and things scattered across the ocean floor. It is her own little scavenger side coming out to show off her many trophies. When she is on land the belt clicks and chimes with a pleasant melody. In a similar fashion a long necklace is around her neck. Like her belt the necklace has trinkets tied in. Designed in a pattern to her liking. Mostly large coins and finger bones make up the necklace. Concept Vira is a very complicated person. As a Charoda she was brought up to appreciate life and always think before taking it away. Vira, as a person loves all the quirks and beauty of life. She has made it her passion to learn everything she can about how life worked and the many organisms of the ocean and beyond. She is a vegetarian and hasn't ever killed anything in cold blood before... Not from her point of view at least. In her point of view, every person she has captured and dissected was for the betterment of her own knowledge. Therefore they were helping her fulfill her dream. Her culture taught her to value life and she has. After all there is no better form of flattery than imitation right? So in her mind, all she has done was for science and there fore redeemable... Other than her obsession with learning and the gritty ways its done. Vira is a very kind and helpful woman. Friendly to any Charodae she meets along her journey and tries to be as useful as possible. Although her extreme studies and curious habits have dampened her social skills a little. She may appear odd and quick to speak. Friendly yes, but no one would consider her a charmer. If your not a Charodae you will most likely be considered a subject of interest and if your near the water you might even get grabbed for analysis. History As a child Vira played and swam around like every other young budding Charodae. She crept away from her parents to view the Sea Horse races with young friends. Showed off her swimming and dancing to impress other children. Impressing other children was a big part of growing up for her. She was an only child so friends were the only type of siblings she ever had. It wasn't until she came across a dead Orca whale on the edge of an underwater canyon. That she became so interested in learning and less interested in friends. Her and a couple other Charodae were exploring the outer wilderness around Charbosi. Looking for things to collect or ships to watch. Thats when Vira spotted the whale and convinced her friends to tag along. Hundreds of miles up the sun was glaring down on the sea. Creating a soft ethereal glow on the dead animal. Some of her friends prayed to Laviku for the creature but Vira just watched. It was half eaten and its once water resistant flesh had puffed up with water and flaked away. Partially revealing the massive bones of the animal. Thousands of creatures big and small were slowly consuming the animal. Picking and tearing at the softened flesh and cleaning the bones. It was at that beautiful moment her mind was swept away and lost forever. In the eternal beauty and power of life. How creatures worked together and competed to survive. All in perfect harmony of each other. She wanted to know everything there was about life. It became her new obsession. As she grew older some of her teachers introduced her to the Arcane. She was already becoming so well spoken in arithmetic and other subjects. It only seemed logical to help her advance. With others support she eagerly learned as much as she could. It was slow learning at first but her mind picked up on the practical uses right away. Reimancy and Morphing were her favorite subjects. She became skilled at water bending and learning to change her skin color and facial features. It was amusing to her friends and family but held a much deeper meaning to Vira. She knew that one day she could become excellent at magic. Good enough to become a master of the water and the elements around her. Morphing offered her a rare glimpse into the world of the animals she studied. Dissections became her new favorite hobby. She learned to morph and create the organs and inner workings of other animals. As Vira grew older and realized the sad physical state of her race. She wanted to help, and saw one thing that could... Magic and other creatures. If she could learn to take the best parts of every creature and place them in her body. She could then make an ultimate species of Charodae. One that could eat meat and go back to their former glory. Or at least the glory old books and teachers told of the Charodae before the war of the gods. Soon she was old enough to take to the seas and complete her task. Eventually in her search she came to the idea of using man as a base for her studies. They had similar body structures and were told to have stronger bones and eat meat. The idea interested her enough to set out for the main land. To dissect and learn all the secrets of Humans and any other race not mentioned in tomes. Dissected Areas: Chest cavity opened, vital organs examined. Thighs skinned, muscle structure examined. Eye balls and ears also examined. Notes: Relative body mass and similar height makes 05 a perfect model. Found bathing in the water. Clothes and items were near by on the beach. No friends or companions within sight. Stunned quickly with a blow from spear. Dragged to beach, still breathing but unconscious. Res used to draw sea water into her throat to cause suffocation. Small resistance from 05 but was too weak to fully resist. Study of outside body for morphing commenced for an hour and a half. Hair, face and shoulders were the main focus. As hips and lower extremities were more common to Charodae form. Special interest in feet and hands. Color of hair and pubic hair was an interesting pigment. Not found often and quite shiny in sun light. Very beautiful and could serve for artistic purposes [jewelry]. Samples were taken as trophy. Internal investigation took place shortly after. Still no interruptions from beast or other men. Incisions in chest and legs were made. Muscle structures and organs examined. Bones in particular and heart. Human anatomy studies seemed to be correct or helpful for the most part. Liver, stomach, heart and kidneys sliced and examined further. Extent of dissection was limited. Subject 05 was a rather beautiful creature and couldn't bear to examine further. Prayers to Dira and Laviku for the departure of the creature. Followed by further examination of the skin. Very pliable with no resistance. Very unlike Charodae. (All in all this was a very exciting Examination, and the first successful one. No interruptions and by far the most favored subject. If morphing skills are sufficient this will be the one most likely. From Human male perspectives it might attract the most mates. A major breakthrough.)
