The Shipyard There was, to put it simply, nothing else like it in Mizahar. The Zeltivan shipyard was located in the exact same place the Alahean Royal Naval Station had been before the Valterrian. It was at the deepest part of the harbor, and it occupied at least two square miles. There was activity as far as one could see -- sailors and craftspeople hurrying about, boats of all sizes, in all states of construction, and the occasional site leader barking orders. Zeltivans were a people of the sea, and this was perhaps the place where it was the most clear. The knowledge of seafaring had only been preserved here; as a result, Zeltivan vessels were orders of magnitude better than those produced anywhere else, and Zeltiva's naval power was unmatched. The shipyard was owned by the Sailors' Guild, and they took the utmost pride in their work. Despite the hubbub, the noise, and the motion, the shipyard operated like a well-oiled machine, and defects of craftsmanship were almost unknown. There was a central office for the placing of orders and such -- a small, almost nondescript wooden building at the northwest corner of the shipyard. Anyone who had business there would be greeted politely by the secretary, a graceful young man by the name of Ethan Wayfarer, and would receive the most careful attention as he or she explained the nature of their visit.
