First Hello!

Hi, everyone. I'm new to Mizahar but an avid roleplayer, and have been for... hm, well, a long time!

While I'm actually still somewhat new to play-by-post in itself, I'm not unfamiliar with it or inexperienced, exactly.

I'd been searching for something refreshing and certainly seem to have found it here. I'm totally dazzled and, after some extensive reading, am working on a character concept... Vantha, I believe. I had to change my mind a few times. The possibilities are all really intriguing and endless.

I can't wait to get started and meet some of you!

I would have to say that when I was new, I too got dazzled after reading the lore and felt it rather refreshing to see that, for once, a play-by-post fantasy game that uses original races and doesn't uses established ones like elves and dwarves! I'm looking forward to reading your character sheet, and we're really happy to have you as part of our family.

Yes, one of Miza's advantages is definitely the variety of races and possibilities that's just not copied, but new and exciting. There's something for everyone, and everyone plays their character(s) differently.

It's also interesting to see another Vantha since I find this race very fascinating myself. I'm looking forward to what you'll make of the race.

It was hard for me to choose a class too. I read all about one, then I jumped to the next. They all have flaws and quirks. Once you decide, I'm sure you'll be happy, no matter what you choose.

Well met and welcome to Mizahar Calypso!

I hope you enjoy roleplaying here and have a lovely time. I know there's a lot of material to take in and a lot of reading to do before you start playing, but don't feel overwhelmed, its well worth it in the long run. One thing I do have to point out is that we do not allow historic God/Goddess names for player names so you'll need to be picking a more PC appropriate name. Popular sea nymphs from epic fantasy novels/history count under no no's on the naming policy - so be thinking of what you'd like to change it too. See Rules for more details. Don't worry, we get this name a lot (plus a lot of others!) and have to ask people to change them. You can post here what you want it to be changed to and we'll switch the name in the account ourselves - just remember after you post it that your account name will be difference once you log in!
