Endrykas training thread anyone?

Postby Ginchoeri on September 3rd, 2011, 9:53 pm

Well I know it's kind of strage but i was thinking some thing like music training or cooking... or really anything that doesn't cost much money. So like Hand to hand combat training could also work and would really help Gin out.... since she has NOTHING in the way of defence OR offence though she somehow has hunting skills XD. So if anyone is willing to join me PLEASE don't hesitate XD.

Endrykas training thread anyone?

Oddly enough, I think Bolden would enjoy a thread like that for you. He's trained his strider in combat moves that could be the same for a horse if you're interested.

Well atm, Bolden doesn't have unarmed combat training skills because *hints at Van* I need to do some flashback threads with Vanator. However, I offered, because Bold knows horses and I figured he could help your Kelvic horse. Sorry, I guess that's not much help since you wanted the training in human form. Good luck in your search.

Look up Lipizzaner some time and you'll see the training I'm talking about. It's higher schooling for horses that was originally taught as battle maneuvers. It would have been things like Levade, Capriole, Courbette. These are dressage movements applied to war horses. Nowadays it's just something to look at but way back in medieval times, these were highly advanced moves that taught horses to be fearless and ferocious in battle, and protect themselves and their riders. It's literally unarmed combat for horses.

Have fun.

*double nods* It is very intense, very difficult training. These horses are like the martial arts masters of the equine world and it takes a lot of brains, strength and training. That's why I didn't make Bolden's strider too young, so that he'd have a few years of training under his Yvas.

If you want my character Raine could use some unarmed combat training, she has no real offensive or defensive skill, music would also work as Raine has some minor skills with a flute.
