Physical Description
Tabitha stands tall at about 5’8”, and has a full, curvy, maternal body. She weighs about 145Ibs. Her large but half-lidded eyes are a clear light blue, and hold almost a calm but sleepy quality to them. Her cheeks and general head shape are round, but she boasts a pointy chin and petite nose, giving her a generic baby-face. Her long, yellow-blonde hair is kept in a low bun and a few strands hang loose to frame her face. She spends much of her days out in the sun and thus developed a light tan over her otherwise fair skin. Because fishing is her main source of income, she wears common, comfortable, and loose clothes that never go past her shins. She sports minimal footwear, usually sandals or even goes barefoot, and can be sometimes be seen with a wide-brimmed hat to keeps the sun out her eyes. Her most prized possession, her grandfather’s fishing rod which belonged to her father before her, is normally slung over her back when it isn’t being used.

Character Concept
Tabitha is a kind, gentle, and somewhat lazy fisher-girl. Level-headed and good humored, she spends most of her time napping, singing, and of course, fishing. Living most of her life in and by the water, she had learned from a very early age to “go with the flow”, and her flexibility and knack for adapting to even the most difficult of situations reflects this. While most people are off-put by her lack of ambition, goals, competitiveness, and carefree personality, they still find a way to admire her friendliness, openness, and helpful advice. As for Tabitha herself, she’s happy to live her life one day at a time, eager to see where the waters carry her.

Character History

Tabitha was born and raised in the city of Zeltiva. Her mother, mild-mannered, frail, and sickly, died while giving birth to her second daughter when Tabitha was only one year old. The task of bringing her up fell to her father, a childlike and somewhat eccentric man who remained cheerful despite the loss of his wife and child, and her grandfather, a salty sailor whose colorful language and grumpy attitude seemed only bearable because of his vivid storytelling.

Tabitha grew up in a loving and affectionate home in which both her guardians did their best to make her happy and provide for her. Her father taught her how to fish and her grandfather taught her how to listen. Between the both of them, Tabitha would be lying if she said she missed her mother, a woman she can’t even remember. Other than that, she lived a relatively normal childhood.

When she was eight, her grandfather passed away from a combination of age and sickness that comes with age. His death did not affect her grief-wise the year in which it happened, but she did begin to feel mournful as she got older and understood the concept of death.

The summer in which her father died, however, were Tabitha’s darkest hours. The man was out fishing alone when a storm that had been predicted for the next day hit prematurely. Nobody’s certain what had happened out in the water, but Navy officers found his body floating in the sea, cold and dead, only days after he went missing. Tabitha was already fifteen, and by this time she understood very well what had happened. For months she did not leave her house. Still, it is not within Tabitha’s nature to stay in mourning.
Eventually she was consoled by the fact that her father died doing what he loved and was able to move on with her life.

Now seventeen, she lives in the capital city of Sylria.
