Solomus understood interrogation, if not torture to get it, and he noticed the worry running off Zuri across from her. She mentioned that she didn't fit in there, her reason for leaving. Well if she believed that she would fit in any better in Ravok, she had another thing coming. And it might happen any minute.

"I understand what you mean. If I were to go anywhere else and speak the word of the almighty Rhysol, I'm sure I wouldn't fit in." Solomus watched her for a moment, hoping for any reaction, but no matter what it was, it wouldn't stop what he was about to do. It is time he began his quest to cleanse Mizahar of all who Rhysol had no need for.

Solomus placed his left hand on the table, and used his right leg to knock Zuri out of her chair. Today he killed a wolf.

[Flashback] What a wolfy grin. . . [Zuri]

Postby Zuri on October 3rd, 2011, 11:30 pm

Listening to the man Zuri wasn't calmed in the least, the intimidating air surrounding him only seemed to grow and when he suddenly kicked her chair away Zuri was taken by surprise and so as her chair toppled Zuri crashed hard on to the rough floor, her hands taking the brute of her fall, scraping against the floor boards, surges of adrenaline hid the pain for now. Anger filled her at once, it rolled over her in waves of pure rage, before she even had time to pushe herself off the floor she was ready to fight to the death, no wolf would take abuse silently. But an instinct told her to avoid changing just yet and to wait and see what the man would do and may he regret it if he attacked again.

Her eyes burned with an inner fire as she bared her sharp teeth to show her enemy that she wouldn't cover from no one, staying crouched on the floor, muscles tensed and ready for a fight, she hid her fear and inexperience with a veil full of confidence. "What did I ever do to you?" Zuri growled glaring at the man in front of her.

[Flashback] What a wolfy grin. . . [Zuri]

Solomus was happy to see his little attack work. The woman fell into the center of the tavern, not falling like a woman. Instead she caught herself, staying crouched, and demanded his reason for doing so. By now they had a crowd, and Solomus had to tread carefully. Grabbing the handle to his warhammer, he walked closer to the woman. "Time to dance, Kelvic," he whispered quiet enough for only her ears to pick up.

Solomus scanned the area as people watched on. Several men looked close to the point of helping the Zuri against the man who supposedly assulted for no reason. But their mindset was about to change. Flipping his topknot so it ran down his back, Solomus spoke to the crowd. "Before us all, I name Zuri no-name a Kelvic and spy of Sylrias. In the city of Rhysol, may he rule forever, We don't take kindly to Sylrians. Clear the room so I may show this woman why Rhysol is deemed the god of evil." Solomus paused while his lie sunk in, and the scraping of chairs followed. A few men in the corner began making bets on how long the woman would last. Solomus didn't know much about this woman, but it was time Solomus learned to weed out those unworthy to breath. And if he ever did make a mistake. . .well, corpses couldn't complain.

Solomus turned back to Zuri, rolling his sleeves up to the elbow. He then held his hammer in his right hand, watching her with that permanent scowl. "Now be a good girl, and shift. I'd much rather take home to my father the skin of an animal, not a woman." Looking down at her, Solomus waited. Would she shift, or would he kill her like she is? Rhetoric questions that bothered him little. Either way, Zuri was going to die.

[Flashback] What a wolfy grin. . . [Zuri]

Postby Zuri on October 5th, 2011, 2:27 pm

The people who'd been about to help her became cold and backed away as the large man called her a spy. A spy! She was no spy, what an insult, wolf's were proud, they didn't sneak around like shakals or hyenas. And who is this Rhysol, and what can he do when he is not even here? She wondered, Zuri had heard a lot of that name in Ravok even in her short time here but she had no interest in gods and in her anger she said as much to the man towering before her. Normally she would not insult a persons believes but when someone managed to anger her Zuri forgot all courtesy she otherwise showed others.

What Zuri wanted least was to satisfy the man by shifting but still she recognized the plain fact that her human form had as much chance of hurting him as a feather might have and so she had not much of a choice if she wanted to keep her life.

Keeping her sharp gaze at the man after scanning the room quickly Zuri realized she couldn't escape without a fight and so she lept at him letting her human shape fall off her and in a flash off light it was a large wolf that continued the attack, teeth bared and gleaming white in the tavern lights. Lunging head on but still keeping the huge hammer in her sight and prepared to dodge it if the man should want to swing it her way.

[Flashback] What a wolfy grin. . . [Zuri]

Postby Solomus Revon on October 5th, 2011, 8:50 pm

Solomus didn't really understand the situation he threw Zuri into. She was really a wolf with the ability to become a human, so her tendencies were that of a wolf. While they hunted in packs, she was a lone wolf, stuck in a tavern and surrounded by humans eager to watch her die. And she knew who she wanted to kill.

The follower of Rhysol nearly sighed when the woman lunged at him in her fragile state. And he nearly balked when the woman suddenly became a wolf, lunging to sink its teeth into his neck. The tattered clothing Zuri was wearing lay in the floor behind her, reminder of what was there only moments before. It was truly magnificant in a way.

But Solomus wasn't there to admire the shift of a Kelvic. At least, not when an angry woman, bad enough in his eyes, was charging him. With the hammer in his right hand, Solomus swung at Zuri's head as she moved towards him. A blow that probably could break bones on a human, but were a wolf's skull harder than his? It matter little to the man. He'd rather make the death slow anyway. And while in swing, Solomus spoke to the crowd once more. "Notice how she attacks me, not deny my claims. May that be your proof, so that when she dies, her blood washes off my hands without leaving a stain." Solomus didn't care what they told others. He had Rhysol watching his back. And only his hammer watching his front.

Though her bones was much more sturdy than her weak human form Zuri wasn't sure she could take a full blow from the hammer so she tried twisting her body in mid air, she succeeded partially as the hammer still graced her shoulder. But as she landed safely on the ground she knew it wouldn't slow her down, it ached but nothing a wolf couldn't take. Letting a growl escape through her bared teeth, much more intimidating now than when she had done it as a human, she kept her amber eyes locked on the man, she felt that the other in the tavern wouldn't attack just yet but she kept herself open to that possibility anyway.

The man had made everyone think she was a spy too and even if Zuri was quite ignorant about the workings of society even she guessed that some sort of authority would be called for. It would be best for her to not be here when they arrived so Zuri was determined to make this fight a quick one before making her escape.

If she had been hunting then Zuri would have gone for the throat or the neck and if she had been fighting another wolf then the size would be more even but this man was so tall and his hammer was dangerous, instead she decided to cripple him by aiming at his legs. Leaping forward again Zuri kept an eye on the hammer as she took sight on the man's knee thinking a bite there would be more then painful. If he managed to block Zuri would try and dodge around the hammer and try to topple him by using her body weight so she could get to his throat.

Solomus felt his hammer's head connect with the Zuri, but didn't hear any crack of broken bones. It wasn't a direct hit, proven by the wolf landing with ease. A blood-curdling growl is released from the wolf's mouth, causing some men nearby to step back from the she-wolf. They weren't ready to have their throat ripped out. And Solomus wasn't either. But he wouldn't back away when his hammer could crush Zuri's head like a melon.

Zuri leaped at him again, going for his leg. Solomus twirled somewhat gracefully around her, the body flying past him. But in his spin, the leg of a table caught his ankle. He stumbled backwards as Zuri skidded to a stop. His hammer fell out of his hand, crashing into a mug of ale and shattering it. He was defenseless with an angry Kelvic waiting to kill him. Well not defenseless. But who would use unarmed combat with a wolf? So unless one of the men manned up and helped him, he was dead. Why, out of anywhere, did he choose the patrons of Silver Silver as his saviors. With them behind him, he truly was doomed.

Cursing her miss as the large man stepped out of the way making Zuri fly past him, but turning on one paw she saw her chance as the man stumbled as his leg hit the table making him stumble and he drop his hammer. Without loosing more than a second Zuri threw herself at the mans chest using her weight to slam him to the floor feeling her claws ripp through his clothing, leaving three deep wounds across his chest, her bared teeth barely an inch from the man's exposed throat. Her anger and fear had blinded her to the point where she completely forgot to take into account how the rest of the men inside the tavern could react to her slamming the large man to the floor.

Solomus had felt pain before, but the feeling of claws ripping his flesh open was something new. But what was more surprising to find himself knocked over by the Kelvic. He was a big man in this world, and he had been knocked down like wind blowing a sapling over. Now the hot breath was being blown onto his neck, which was thankfully not ripped open. And Zuri's wolf body was on top of him. He was screwed.

But Solomus wasn't going to give up so easily. This girl had to be young and inexperienced, but even the older people could be frightened with words just as well as his hammer. And with that out of his reach, he only had his words to use. And even that could be taken away with one bite.

"Zuri, I hope you understand me. You bested me today, but you are really trapped. Kill me and you'll never live to get out of this tavern. Spare me, and you live until I hunt you down and skin you alive. So would you rather die in five chimes or five years?" Solomus turned his head, spitting on the ground. It was hard to breath with the wolf on top of him, but if she decided to kill him, breathing wouldn't be needed much longer.

[Flashback] What a wolfy grin. . . [Zuri]

Postby Zuri on October 9th, 2011, 5:50 pm

Zuri had raised her head to gain more power as she prepared to rip out the man's throat when he spoke, it sounded strained like he couldn't get enough air, then again that may not be so strange after all. His words actually cleared her head, her survival instinct was far stronger than her anger and Zuri realised the truth in his words. Glaring straight into the man's dark eyes Zuri snapped her jaws shut inches from his face with such force that her jaws ached before darting towards the door. Ramming it with her shoulder the door flew open and Zuri ran for as long as possible on the streets following the faint scent of the Wildlands, she managed to get almost to the large plaza at the docks when she had no other choice but to throw herself into the water.

She didn't know for how long she could swim but Zuri was determined to leave this city now or die trying, she heard nothing distinct that showed that a group of people was following her but she didn't dare waste time by turning to look. Setting her sight on the shore relatively far away from the large watchtower she swam in the same way she ran, medium speed that would allow her to save her strength for as long as possible. When she started to fear if she could go on swimming for much longer Zuri felt her paws scrape the stony sea floor, she relaxed slightly but didn't rest for long, as soon as she could Zuri started trotting south, running in a large half circle to avoid the entrance to Ravok. This was a city she had no intention to return to ever, though in her later years Zuri would eventually recognize the event as a harsh life lesson and became more careful in strange places but for now she intended to get far away from the city.
