 This is Simone, and twenty year old Vantha residing in Avanthal. She's yet to be married, is an assassin, and her goal is to avenge her human father's death. Even though there is hatred in her soul Simone is very gentle. Simone is very in tune to her heritage and where she comes from. She's a master performer, and her skills in dance actually make her an lethal assassin. Although she will not admit it, there is one thing Simone subconsciously wishes for. She hopes that she can find a companion on her journey. The journey is actually quite lonely on her own. In truth she just hopes someone to soothe her anger and show her that this vengeance is not the way. She wants her life back. |
I'm still in the middle of designing Simone, that is why I came here. I want to actually incorporate her job, her culture, and her family. It's customary for Vantha to be married around the age of sixteen, however I plan to make Simone at least twenty. This is a bit odd for her family considering they wish her to settle down and start making a family. Simone's job is an assassin. I imagined the Vantha to be amazing predators. Because their way of dance and performance makes them very dexterous it should make them the perfect assassin. I wanted to incorporate this skill in dance to a fighting style. It would be beautiful. I was hoping that there would be other characters in Mizahar that would be willing to be targets. Or at least one... I was hoping that her target would be a person she could not kill. It could introduce her to a new way of life. Someone that will try and ease her anger and need for revenge. If it's a male it could possibly be love. Simone is so driven on avenging her father's death she has been killing anyone that hires her for information of where the killer might be. So I want her to have an assignment and not be able to kill that person because she knows that person is innocent. Then I want her to move past her fears of growing close to people and make a solid friend. A companion. That's at least how I'd like her romance to go. If that doesn't work I wouldn't mind having her go through an arranged marriage with another Vantha, or any other ideas. It won't be easy though. I hate romance that just happens out of thin air. I actually want it to take time, you know? This is just a wish I have.
