Basic Information Name: Sylo of The Burning Silhouette Race: Myrian Age: 17 Birthday: 38th of Summer Gender: Female Physical Description: At 5’4” the youth Myrian still has some growing to do but without a doubt will reach the average height of her race. Built with agile feet and slender wrist Sylo was a born dancer. Her physique is fairly petite and lacking of curves but she doesn’t mind. Narrow green eyes give her the look of danger that her physical does not portray. Two braids crown her face and keep the rest of her hair behind her ears. Sylo’s medium tight curly black hair has some deep reddish hues in certain lighting. Never has the girl worn shoes of any sort, she prefers her bare feet over anything often saying, “You can hear the jungle’s rhythm through your feet.” Welts can usually be seen on the arms from practicing with the whip and commonly her lower back is bruised from tumbling mistakes. Sylo’s tattoo’s are that of a bird mid flight across her shoulder and neck. Character Concept: Sylo’s stand offish attitude is typical of her race. She tends to be much more interested in training than anything social and becomes highly aggressive when disturbed. The only time she can be seen smiling is during festivals and dances. Her favorite pass time is chasing birds and she deeply dislikes humor. Ultimately she likes being alone more than anything. Like all of her kind she worships Mryi first but feels a close connection with Syna secondly. Sylo has been a protective figure in her younger sibiling's life. She often pushes them to do more but offers support when they need it.

History: From a young age Sylo has always been interested in dance. She began learning rhythm at age ten and simple key moves but was quickly forced in a different direction as she began to find and train with her weapon of choice. As she grew older other Myrian kids began to see her in slight leadership. While training in the jungle with two other girls and one boy she caught sight of a bird on a low branch. Cracking her whip on the branch she snapped it and sent the bird tumbling to the ground. After a few moments the bird recovered and flew off but her peers began calling her the “bird catcher”. Rumors began to spread that Sylo was, “faster than the cat,” among those her age and fearful that Navre would be angry with her she fell to her knees begging for forgiveness at dawn every morning. A year later at the age of thirteen one group of young teens decided that she should prove that the rumors were true and lured her to a remote part of the jungle with a big leopard. Her challenge was to catch a bird that the leopard was hunting before it caught it. Again fearful that Navre would be angry with her she refused. Angry with Sylo the teens headed back to Taloba and proceeded to tell anyone who would listen that Sylo had run away from a fight. Her mother was ashamed and cut Sylo’s hair so that her daughter would feel the same. While her hair was growing back to its original length Sylo stayed to herself, becoming very anti social. She went about her day without interaction with others for many seasons until she overheard a story about the Ta’rukahl. Setting an impossible goal for herself she gained back her drive and intuitive. Sylo set about training to catch the mighty beast.
