The Lighthouse The lighthouse is located beside the Quays to the south. It is the third building that rises over the tomb-like structures that are homes and shops. It is about as tall as the Watchtower to the north, and emits an eerie, unworldly light as to warn others of the island's location. Dira has been known to come out here to hold impromptu courts with the ghosts, to listen to them and find out what has been going on when she is away from the citadel. It is another ghostly gathering place on the island that essentially belongs to the departed. Two ghosts in particular, Percy and Ophelia, never leave it. Instead, they make sure that the light is always on. It is not unusual for Black Rock's children to congregate here during the daylight hours to play with them. They are a fixture of the lighthouse, just as much as the building itself. Even the elderly remember playing with them. The NPCs Secret : Ophelia Ophelia is the other child that never leaves the lighthouse. She died with Percy, drowning under mysterious circumstances. No one knows whether or not these two are brother and sister, or exactly what happened. Both, however, blame the lighthouse's lack of light as the reason that they died in the first place. She is the more outgoing one of the pair, playing games and giving advice and listening to secrets and stories. She is often a confidante for the kids, even though she is a ghost. Dead men tell no tales... and neither do dead children. Percy Percy is one of the two ghostly children who never leaves the lighthouse. Like Ophelia, he drowned under mysterious circumstances well over 100 years ago. He and Ophelia stand guard over the Lighthouse to make sure that the light is always on. He loves to play tag and charades.
