As Ronan looked into Leto's eyes, the man looked intently back towards him, his intentions true enough as he spoke of them. "I seek the Watcher to tell him something, something of deep importance to myself, and him. Unfortunately now is not the right time to let you in on the part of me that is unfortunately different from most drykas, but, perhaps in time, you'll come to know my nature... I must express to Sama'el what I haven't told him yet, and what I must tell him soon, lest it burst forth from me uncontrollably," he said, slowly, deliberately, but still with a faint gentle tone in his voice, one that portrayed that he was telling the truth of what he was saying, ambiguous as it was. "That is why I seek the watcher Sama'el..." he finished, and then even as his eyes continued to watch Ronan's, locked onto them firmly, many thoughts traversed through Leto's mind.
What if he figures out my reason for trying to find Sama'el? he thought, What if he learns of my forbidden feelings that I have to tell Sama'el about. Will he think as poorly of me as my uncle does? Will he try to kill me? Many thoughts raced through Leto's mind as he spoke to Ronan, not knowing the man's true intentions, but knowing that he was a good man, despite what dark past he might have. Leto could see a light in his eyes that made him almost hopeful for the future, as he watched Ronan carefully, the breeze blowing his short multicolored hair a bit as he concentrated on what it was that Ronan would say next, if anything.
Leto wasn't like a normal drykas, and he was socially inept for the most part, but he was determined to break out of his shell and come to be accepted by the Drykas for who he was, rather than dismayed by them for his personal actions. All Leto sought was acceptance, and he felt that Sama'el could give it to him, no matter what, he seemed to be a good man, and Leto knew that, as young as the drykas was compared to him. But would Ronan be able to share the same sympathies that Sama'el might be able to share, would he be able to grant Leto the acceptance that the elder male so desperately sought, which only thus far his aunt had been able to provide. Leto didn't know, and hoped to the gods that Ronan didn't figure out his secret to quickly, or tried to harm Leto for his behaviors that were not anywheres near his fault. To Leto it was natural, but to Ronan it probably would have seemed more unnatural than anything, then again, Leto did not know the man fully, so he didn't know what his mannerisms were either.
All he had was hope that Ronan would see the truth in his eyes that he needed to speak with Sama'el sometime soon, and waiting til he returned from his journey would not be soon enough. Leto's own emotions were slowly spiralling out of control, and he knew that he had to tell Sama'el of them, or they might eat Leto up entirely in the process...
