Not found on any map, Endrykas is a large migrating tent city wherein the horseclans of Cyphrus gather to trade and exchange information. [Lore]

Image "Ach, not too tight. Th' flesh must be given room to heal. You are it's guide, only."

The gruff tone of Yarrow bit into her ears, and Evarette dropped the hand guiding the threaded needle through the quivering flank of a wounded Seme. The horse had fallen victim to a snapped tent pole during an attempted raid on it's keepers as they traveled to Endrykas. Luckily the raid had been short lived, and the raiders had been disposed of efficiently, but not everyone had emerged unscathed. This had provided a wealth of learning opportunities for Evarette, as Yarrow had somewhat grudgingly taken her under his withered wing...

Evarette used the tip of the needle to pry the beginning of the continuous suture a bit loose, and set her hands to the task again. She could feel Yarrow's eyes narrowing critically aver her shoulder. Another pass of the needle seemed to meet his standards, judging by his silence. Just when Evarette was beginning to relax into the meticulous rhythm, the horse blew out a gusty sigh, and Evarette could not help but jump..

"Ach! Girl, mind you hands..."

Eva sucked in a steadying breath, her indigo eyes swinging briefly towards the Seme's head that was cradled between the soothing hands of his keeper as her cheeks began to burn. One would be tempted to think she'd not grown up around these creatures. But, it wasn't the horses...it was Yarrow's sharp tongue that held her arrested in a state of anxiety...Her attention returned to the work at hand, and with another deep breath to strengthen her resolve, she dipped the threaded needle towards the horse's hide once again.

Miraculously, the stitches were completed and neatly tied off with very little else added from Yarrow's position at Evarette's elbow. Once the remaining tail of the horse-hair thread had been snipped, Yarrow directed her through wiping it clean, and applying a specially mixed poultice that smelled both sharp and sour.

"Whats in it?" Eva wrinkled her nose over the substance.

"I'll tell you later. 'Ere...set it like this."

He packed the sticky substance in thick around the wound, explaining as he did so that it would harden and tighten about the wound, aiding in drawing the skin together so that it could heal cleanly with less of a scar.

Once completed, Yarrow rose and wiped his hands clean. The Seme's keeper expressed his gratitude, left Yarrow a coin, and gathered the lead to his horse. "Good work," gruffed Yarrow, collecting his supplies. Evarette blinked in surprise, turning to gaze at the elder in a state of bewilderment. Compliments were next to unheard of from the aged horse healer. The simple note of praise cracked Eva's stoic resolve and spread a broad smile across her features as she stood to watch the Seme and his Drykas keeper make their way back to the encampment.

"Thank you..."
