Way To Get Lost(Open)

[Nisuness]

Nisuness smiled back as the other woman seemed to light up with happiness. It made her feel good to not only to have company, but to be helping somebody out.

She looked down at little animal as he nipped at her ankles and tried to climb her. She didn’t need the other woman to tell her what he was trying to do to know that he probably wanted to ride on her or something. She was fine with carrying him, since he was small and she thought he would get tired of running easily. She wasn’t sure if she should let him climb up her or just pick him up. Thinking for a moment, she knelt down and held her arm out to him to climb up, smiling at him, showing teeth. She looked back at the other woman as she asked her question.

“I don’t mind at all,” Nisuness said. “My name is Nisuness,” she answered her. She didn’t add her last name, since she doubted the other woman really cared about what her last name was. For no real reason, she felt curious to know more about the woman she was guiding. “What’s your name?” she asked, trying to seem kind.

Finding a comfortable position on the woman’s small frame was posing difficulty. The ferret turned, sat, sprawled and made many other attempts to plop down and enjoy the free ride. He lowered himself to sit on the shoulder, still not pleased with his inability to lie down, began sniffing around the side of Nisuness' face. Ryce weaved his small wet nose through strands of hair, into and around her ear, then the edge of her mouth. Uninterested now with her aroma, Ryce continued and tested various ways for him to maybe eventually be allowed to sleep in safely. Looking behind her to her other shoulder he saw the potential resting place. Careful movements were needed in order for him to not fall off and hit into the ground. Grabbing on to whatever cloth he could from the back of her neck he slowly crept with the upper half of his body around her neck. Ryce flicked his tail in excitement from the new found potential lounging. Sprawling his hind legs to both sides of her shoulders, resting his tall along the back, and now on the other shoulder his upper body hung down just lazily hanging to the side of her neck. Ryce now resembled a fur ensemble, surrounding the outside of Nisuness' neck, as if she wore him just for the purpose of keeping herself warm. Not fully ready for sleep the ferret left his eyes open, resting his head on her body, and would sniff the air as they moved.

[Gabrielle Seawind]

Gabrielle looked at the girl. She had already introduced herself, but in the pace of itself, it had probably gone unnoticed. Smiling, she repeated, "My name's Gabrielle." The Svefra watched the Kelvic ferret struggle to find a comfortable position. She gave a smile -- the ferret had positioned itself like he was a piece of her clothing. If someone were to ask Gabrielle, she would say it suited Nisuness. "I wonder who he is, exactly...?" mused Gabrielle loudly, though she knew the Kelvic could hear her and understand her. "Hm, alright... anywhere, where do we head to now?" she said to Nisuness, though she did so with a smile still on her face at an effort to seem less pushy. She didn't want to sound demanding, but she was just fearful that the streets would change! Gabrielle didn't want to spend the rest of the day wandering around. OOCReally short, I know. My mind's at a block, but I don't want to slow the thread down!

Nisuness caught the woman’s look. It took her a moment to realize that the other girl had already said her name once, but she’d missed it completely. It made her feel a bit stupid to have asked again, but it seemed to her like she would have to get used to feeling silly or stupid in the city she was in. She smiled at the girl as she repeated her name, trying to appear to be paying attention. She didn’t want to annoy the other girl by asking question she already had an answer to.

The little animal crawled up to her shoulder, and moved around, trying to get comfortable. Nisuness kept as still as she could as he walked, sprawled and plopped about on her shoulder. He seemed to have found somewhere comfortable to sit as he began sniffing the side of her face. His nose tickled her skin and she hoped her wouldn’t continue sniffing her as they walked. He stopped sniffing her after a moment, making Nisuness feel thankful. He looked around, looking for somewhere else to sit or lay. Nisuness wasn’t sure how easy it would be for him to get comfortable on her small shoulders, but wasn’t going to stop him from trying. When he finally seemed comfortable, she relaxed her shoulders, looking at him. She grinned when she saw that he looked like a fur.

Nisuness glanced at Gabrielle as she wondered aloud about who the little animal was. She wondered who he was too. Gabrielle asked where they were going and Nisuness remembered that they would need to head out fast. She didn’t want to get Gabrielle and the little animal lost with her if the streets moved. “This way,” she said, pointing at the direction she had come from. She started down the road, glancing down the way to make sure that they weren’t heading to the a dead end. The path still seemed clear.
