...lots of people do. Afterall, what fun is it being a slave at the bottom of the barrel?! No offense to incoming deks, thank you actually for adding to the character variety in the city! But the point remains that there are those...overly ambitious types... Well here's you chance to prove yourself. Yasi, Chiet, Avora, Dek, it matters not...so long as you are an Inarta. I'm going to be open to the variety of sexes and ages, just review the lore, because the nature of the Endal and their wind eagles is something very deep. There are a few disadvantages (challenges!). I you're not hoppig on Tiaue'a's back the first thread, please, get over yourself. (the PC not you! ) Endals are hard workers, and the wind eagles want proof of that...so let's have at it. Anyone looking to thread with the PC it's best to PM me over this account. Just mention the thead incase I forget... I hope that won't happen of course! If anyone wants to make a PC designed for this specific role, give me a heads up too... There will be no bias rgardless of the circumstances. I also do have a sort of rubric for how Tiaue'a "evaluates" possible candidates. There's no scale precisely, but with most of the categories it's a rather clear cut "good" or "bad." Wind eagles are intelligent...they can identify potential! But if you waste it you will easily be disowned. So you're going to basicall be evaluated on the following in random order: IC: age, sex, personality compatability, skills (those ideal for the Endal), skill potential, loyalties, experience There are probably few more minor things, but these are prominent categories. But wait! There's more... OOC (because I need to enjoy writing with you...xD): style, personality compatability, mutual interests/likes/dislikes (MIzahar PC based, nothing too personal ), availability (because me like sme some weekend power posting!), site activity (I'd like to see you go above and beyond in a season...I'd "like" to at least. xD), and site "loyalty?" (If you are disappearing on me that's upsetting. We'd have to assume you slacked and dump you on your butt if there isn't a valid reason). A lot of it is common sense. Most of the qualities I'd hope you seek in your adventure across Mizahar as well. A note on OOC style compatability: I get to read a bit with my courses in school, and I can assure you, my likes and dislikes with style are pretty straight forward. Like - poetic twists, indepth dialogue (arguments, speechs, etc.), to-the-point approach to action/description Dislkes - overly flamboyant explainations of the most intricately obvious matters at hand("fluff" description), mindless babblings of unrelated topics that barely hit on relative events (Let's not try to make our way back to Kevin Bacon). And more stuff along the lines of "fluff" and mindlessness. I don't mean the occassional bad post, I mean the consistant...you'll figure it out eventually. It can be tough to keep up conversations while maintaining 500 word minimum posts, I get it it, so feel free to be a very talkative PC. Tiaue'a isn't...not much at least. All the same i'm probably guilty of these things on occassion, but that's my points, it's an occurance, not a pattern. So yea... Bring forth the candidates! Happy threading, everyone.

I'd be up for the challenge.
First thing I'd have to do would be to create another character profile, as this one never really worked. I'm more reluctent than most, striving for perfection but nervous to go ahead, so I'm pretty much unable to start a thread for the first time.
I also really like the history of the Inarta and was originally going to be an Inarta, but didn't really like the thought of being stuck up there with the same people, no escape if I didn't know anyone, so this looks like a pretty good option.
I'll have to look into the lore again but I'll be willing to be an option, although I have to create a character first.

I need to see a PC operating first. We can thread a bit socially, but I won't take you as an Endal until perhaps the middle of Mizahar's spring season. Mid-spring sounds like a long time but its probably not. And jumping right onto her back wasn't my intention, although it would be funny. A thread of them meeting and then some more of them getting along would be a nice start to their relationship, although it depends if you like her or not. Note that it's not this account, but an account named Emi...

Colin would love to meet Tiaue'a! He's a young Inartan male and already Avora caste. A warning though, he's rather awkward for an Inartan; but hopefully you find his differences to your liking. First of all, he's a travelling merchant. This means that, unlike most other Inartans, he actually leaves Wind Reach on a seasonal basis. In fact, he's busy trading in Syliras this Winter. He's also strong-headed, rebellious, and dangerously curious. If Tiaue'a is willing to get out of Mizahar now and then and deal with Colin's antics, I think they'd make a great pair. Oh, and I should mention that his Nari name is Tyrin. Tyrin and Tiaue'a sounds pretty good

When he gets back to Wind Reach I’d be up for a thread or two. Just reread Inarta lore and Wind Eagle lore… As an Avora she wouldn’t have any direct interest in checking him out (let alone him being a guy) seeing he has a caste/job in Wind Reach as it is. If by some means they were to bond he’d have to most likely give up lengthy trips that spanned as far as Sylira. Wind Eagles are deeply rooted to Mount Skynarta and the colony there. How awkward he is won’t matter too much so long as he’s willing to communicate and do the Endal’s job: hunt. There are rare occasions where Wind Eagles will travel to near cities, probably no further than Avanthal (I even would have to check this, how long they are away is more of the concern, anxiety and what not). I’d be open to that, but hunting is the primary task. Give me a PM when you get back with a thread link and we can start. Tiaue’a lurks around Wind Reach mid day when it’s too hot/she’s too tired to be hunting.

I was under the impression that, as a Kelvic Dire Eagle and not a true Wind Eagle, Tiaue'a wouldn't have the immense spiritual tie to Mount Skyinarta. Of course, I understand that a dire eagle would prefer being among her kind instead of terrorizing poor city-folk. I don't think that caste and hunting are an issue. The reason Colin is even Avora status is because he's a trader. If he were to stay in Wind Reach, he would probably have to give up his status and switch to hunting. And, to be honest, he wouldn't mind staying in Wind Reach now that there are a lot more people to interact with.

Guardian of Wind Reach comes with the role, Colin. Every role still applies. Furthermore, if you skimmed over the CS of mine, you’d find she’s still convinced she’s a wind eagle. Kelvic Wind Eagles feel equal forms of attachment to the city. Just a FYI. But ya, the offer stands when you’re in WR. Flashbacks are an option too.
