Physical Description
Aluria is described to be tiny with lank, pale brown hair trimmed to the latest style, and pale skin to match it. Her figure is rather slim. Her face is angelically beautiful in its childlike appearance, and lovely when it is animated. Anybody would describe her as having an exceptional face that would make an angel look like a gargoyle. Her eyes look mature for her age, and her lips full, while her voice is unusually childlike. As with the rest of the Svefra race, her eyes are pale blue in color and they tend to light up, or dull, when her emotions are running high. Her childlike voice is high and thin. Although thin, she does have muscle, having been helping out her brother with the daily chores, and her attempts to protect herself from bullies.
Character Concept
Aluria is exceptionally clumsy, tripping on hazards everywhere, and so is easily bullied by most of the kids in her pod. Aluria can also be described as reclusive, quiet, insecure but kind-hearted, compassionate and caring towards others. However, ever since she was bullied, the only real person she cares for is Alex, her older brother. She bitterly despises her oldest brother, Samuel, for abandoning the family, or that's what she was told. Having learned to take care of herself over the years, Aluria had developed into a very mature person, especially for her age. She hates being singled out, and doesn't like being celebrated for anything, usually skipping out on the parties that the Svefra love to have. She prefers to keep her thoughts and feelings to herself and hates when someone tries to understand her. She is also known to be incredibly stubborn, because of her determination to become a better person for Alex, one that she can be praised for. Aluria has a sarcastic sense of humor, especially when she gets mad. She is also very brave, able to block painful thoughts and memories, and tends to come face-to-face with life-threatening danger head-on, even though she can get scared later. Her one flaw would be the lack of knowledge for herself, and self-esteem.
Character History
Ever since she was born, she had a pretty face, and a smile with dimples. She blessed everybody at the pod. However, she was bullied by fierce girls, who were jealous of her beauty. Her brother, Alex, would usually come to scare her away, but then the boys would come around to see what was going on. This usually resulted in Alex getting multiple bruises, and her eyes would become red and puffy, due to her sobbing. Her tear-stricken face would usually be comforted by her big brother, who, although had wounds of his own, would always tend to her first. She hated it when Alex pitied her, so she found herself working on the ships to help build strength, and she attempted to mature herself by looking out for herself, and thinking things through before she applied anything. She became a strong young woman, all so that her brother didn't have to protect her, and could worry about her own things. She loved her brother, a lot. She even found a carnivorous Tavan herself, a female Orca that understood her. Her name was Luka. Luka protected her from bullies, and she felt herself getting stronger and stronger. One day, she heard her brother talking to himself, saying that he would find their brother once he had been appointed as a Casinor. It was then where she decided she would go along with her brother, even if she did have to one day meet Samuel, the brother she despises the most. In case her brother would eventually find out she would stowaway on his ship, she changed her name to Aluria, and disguised herself, because she knew that Alex would never let her go on a dangerous journey like this.
