Ok, everybody.
It's been a long season for all of our characters. A billion exciting things have happened around Mizahar, and a billion more just in Zeltiva. We are up and running again, we have a handful of amazing new and active writers. I use the word writers instead of players, cause that's what they are. On top of all of this we have two intimidating obelisks looming over us, a frantic force of workers, and some brilliant minds working away as our streets with the populace, through politics, and the stone through carpentry. (masonry, carving, blah blah blah)
With all of this frantic stuff, and exciting things, like glass beaks raiding the city, it's understandable that some of us have lost track of the big picture. As fun as the sudden and unexpected events are to write about, I'd like to invite you all to spend some time sharing with us what a very specific aspect of Zeltiva's spring tragedy has done to your characters. Famine.
On the forty second of Spring Famine was officially called in Zeltiva. Food was extremely sparse, and everybody, even the Lord of Counsel!, felt the effects of it. No amount of hording or stealing or preparing had fully stocked the tables of anybody in the city. This stretched painfully onto the 69th, when relief came from Syliras at the expense of fifty volunteers who have left us forever. Even then, however, the food was measly and small in number. Let us not forget this.
Among Spring's new additions was Zeltiva's own status system. Where Maria, our Lord of Counsel, recognizes the IC assistance of your characters to help return Zeltiva to it's former glory. This system has another side, however. And OOC side, meant to help us reward you players for making Zeltiva the domain we all want. And, the request i gave above is one of the many instances where the line is fudged slightly, for the sake of our beautiful domain. Maria will recognize all citizens of Zeltiva for their silent trials and tribulations for the season for Spring. And so, for those of you that take the time to give us a little excerpt of your character's hunger and suffering we will reward you, and them, with up to 10SP.
We want to see your character's suffering, the better you convey their pain and suffering the more SP you will rake in. Let the writing contest for the sake of
my enjoyment Zeltiva begin!
