Physical Description
Tun'ek weighs a sturdy 200 pounds and reaches a respectable height of 6'2". He, like the rest of his family, is fair skinned for a Myrian being only a dark tan. He has smooth black hair and bright hazel eyes that match his fairer shade of skin. His youth shows in his sprightly gate and the relatively small number of scars on his body. He bears a tattoo of intricate designs and motions that rise from the his top of his right hand encompass his entire shoulder. This serves as a mark of his heritage as well as to distinguish that he has chosen to undergo training to become a Lethal Vine Bowsmen. Aside from this, he has earned no other tattoos.

His hair is mohawked at the top and collects in a tightly knotted braid at his back; this is further indication of his intent to be a more than craftsmen. His face displays typical Myrian features: a defined wide jaw and comparatively large nose. By Myrian standards he is considered attractive not for his looks, which are averagely good, but for his sturdy physique and distinguished tattoo.

Both ears are stretched with heavy gauges of ornamental disks crafted from the vertebrae of a dead Myrian Tiger. These are considered his most prized possession as they are a family heirloom that was graciously given to him by his mother.

Character Concept
Tun'ek is eager to prove to himself and eager to find experiences outside of Taloba. For these reasons many Myrians consider him foolish despite his exceptional work ethic and studious nature. He is outgoing but sensitive to criticisms. In Myrian culture this is a weakness and he is working fervently to harden his spirit and overcome it. Most members of his family find him likeable, especially his sisters, who are impressed with his natural talent for archery and persistence in learning from them.

They, Tena and Mitu, overshadow him in almost every regard. Yet he has shown to be both a promising bowsmen and fletcher. He trains hard to learn the trade of stealth from his sisters and brings income to family by crafting arrows of a reasonable quality. His mother, however, is still relentless in her demand that Tun'ek show proficiency also in crafting the signature style family short bow. In this endeavor he is weak, but ever learning.

He views death with only a casual regard; blood and sacrifice a part of daily life. From an outside perspective he would be called merciless and bloodthirsty. From an inside perspective it is entirely normal that he finds no evil in dispatching an enemy. To him, embracing one's own death and that of others is an acknowledgment of the natural cycle of decay. Death brings honor for one's family, not loss. He sees that blood and flesh are mere reflections of a temporary existence and should not revered like they are permanent, but rather offered to the God's in due repayment.

In secret, he has a fascination for the Kelvic whom occasionally inhabit Taloba and, with Myri's favour, hopes to one day befriend one and travel beyond Taloba.

First he must complete his training and fulfill his promise to the Myrian Military.

Character History
Tun'ek is born from a family of women revered for their marksmanship with a short bow and their favor of assassination style stealth combat techniques which employ poisoned arrows. Their poison of a choice is a quick-acting neurotoxin produced from a moderately common jungle vine known as Chiknu. Their mastery of this vine's toxin grants them their family name and it is commonly believed that members of this family build a slow immunity to the poison through frequent handling. This is unconfirmed.

His family is notoriously fair skinned. This is believed to be a handicap in the art of camouflage and the community is not shy to jeer them for it, in good humor of course, or at least in the Myrian sense of 'good humor'. To compensate they have learned to use dark muds made from clay in the jungle to create a particularly effective as well as distinct camouflage pattern. The mixture of light and dark patterns blends in especially well in less-dense regions of the jungle where filtered beams of light manage to kiss the forest floor. As such this is their favored terrain in combat and hunting scenarios.

From a young age Tun'ek has been training in the art of archery under the close guidance of his two older sisters and the unwavering discipline of his mother, Tan'en of The Lethal Vine. At the age of 6 he was considered old enough to be responsible for bringing in some part of the family income. He took to crafting bows and arrows. First they were down-sized training sets for himself and other children of similar age. He sold them for a meager profit, but his skill steadily improved. Overtime he developed a special knack for crafting arrows, but his bow crafting lagged.

Around that time his mother and Father were both involved in a conflict with the Dhani. When he was 11 his father bestowed a honor his family, dying in hand-to-hand combat while attempting to enter a nest. His mother survived and began pushing Tun'ek harder, focusing his training on stealth and combat with a bow. At age 16, as is customary, he underwent his Coming of Age Trials and received Myri's blessing through his war dance.

He continues his training now with in ever increasing need for improvement upon his bowcrafting skills in order to bring in resources for family. Over time he saved enough Bikka to purchase a shortbow of warrior quality, both for his use and so that he could study its craftsmanship. He also purchased a dagger for close-quarter combat and finishing kills, which is another requirement of his training to enter the military.
