5th day of Winter 511 AV
How could this have happened? Bob was lost and dare I say it, alone in the Wildlands. "This is all your fault Jinsen!" because it just was. Bob was leisurely riding down the path see. Just slightly behind his companions with Jinsen right in front of them. The scenery seemed to be a little bit different and he was busy looking around the place only which was why he told Bobo to "follow Jinsen" thinking that the dog would be following everyone else because he told it to "stay on Zenai...no Eri...wait no Zenai is better. You know what? Anyone you want to follow would be the same" as long as it did it correctly down the path that Bob pointed at after those with the names he just mentioned. Maybe he should not have done that because the dog might have been confused, diverting down the path with Bobo right behind it. What Bobo had that Bob did not was horse sense (no pun intended) and ignored the dog to go down the path.
Unfortunately it was Bob with the reins. Bob who periodically looked right in the front of him away from the trees to make sure that Bobo was following that white beacon ahead. When he saw Jinsen moving to the side, it was all he needed. Ignoring the proper path he pulled Bobo after Jinsen asking it "where are you going? I told you to follow Jinsen" before shouting out behind the dog to "wait up Jinsen! If you are gone how are we going to find the rest of the group?" By following the path of course but Bob did not think that far when he kicked the horse to follow that dog which was speeding up through the woods. Right until he was hopelessly and completely lost.
No one would actually be able to tell where they are coming from and where they are going to because all those trees are the same. The only thing that Bob knew was that he soon ended up at a pond with the namesake of that hated goddess Priskil. He knew it too from how the people described it and shouted at Jinsen "don't drink the water!" He did not want his dog getting corrupted by hope. All he needed from it was loyalty. Putting Bobo into a trot he moved into the clearing slowly. Directing it towards Jinsen before he dismounted and pulled the dog away from the pond feeling rather pleased that he avoided something he would not like. His feelings were short lived when he exclaimed "not you too Bobo!" who was drinking the water after it was running so much with that deadweight on top of it. "Whatever you both want then" the stupid animals. "Just don't blame me when you start feeling that later." They would have to learn the hard way and hopefully it will not involve a boar this time.
Leaving the animals on their own, Bob started to look around the pond. "I don't see what is so special about this place. Slap the name Priskil and those religious airheads think that it is magnificent." They should have made a special place for Kelwyn instead. At least those two took action on their own as Bob experienced. Maybe even Sagallius. His exploits are really something everytime he though about it but those Priskil followers which were jealous of him resort to slander. Proof of why Bob does his best to ignore the false hope they try to circulate around. "So are you done yet you two? We need to find the others before it gets dark" and knowing Bob it might even be worse than that because he might get lost. He was not in charge of the trip so why should he have a map?
