Liademir Name: Liademir (Liad) Basic Information Race: Kelvic (Human/Leopard) Birthday & Age : Gender: Female Hair: Light Brown Eyes: Greyish-Blue Skin: Pale White Languages Common: Fluent Kontinese: Basic Symenos: Poor Physical Description Liademir has long, light brown hair that stops at her rib cage. It is often braided or tied in a rough bun, remaining plain and unadorned. She is about 5"6, a height she feels is too short but usually tries to make the best of. Her eyes are a greyish-blue colour, a feat that stays even when she transforms, but her eyes always have the small vertical pupils possesed by the animal she takes form as. Liad walks in a slow, cautious way and is nearly always careful of her movements. She always scans the surrounding areas and makes sure that there is no visible threat. Nearly all of her actions, from the way she eats to the way she runs, mimics a leopard, an animal she is naturally familiar with and close with. Her canines are unusually sharp and her face always portrays an eerily vacant expression. Liad wears what she feels is practical and helpful, although sometimes cannot help wearing an item that only serves for visual purposes. Garments often: include three-quarter length trousers/pants, loose fitting, long tops, a utility belt, long brown boots and sometimes a piece of material that drapes down the back of her belt (a trouser cape). Liad, however, always wears a necklace with a small vial-like pendant attached to it. The vial has is decorated with a bone that has been crafted to spiral around the vessel. Liademir rarely speaks of the vial and what is in it, all that is known by others is that the vial is a treasured heirloom. When she transforms she takes on the form of a snow leopard. Character Concept Liademir is a nomadic figure. Although she owns a home she prefers to wander from place to place, often travelling along with leopard brethren. She is quiet, an attribute that comes from her being shy, but also vigilant. Liad operates in quite animalistic ways. She eats a mainly carnivorous diet, eating vegetables and fruit only when she feels she needs to. Liad nearly always eats with her hands, tearing apart food with her teeth like her animal brothers. She is not the fastest person, but what she lacks in speed she compromises in strength and stealth. Naturally, Liad travels alone or with one other leopard. She has somewhat of a dislike of socialising, and people in general, but deals with it. A disadvantage of this, however, is her tendency to avoid seeking aid or help. Liad is very dependant and hates relying on others, animal or man. Liad enjoys a good fight, although doesnt necessarily seek one out. She enjoys games that involve being subtle, stalking the prey until it's time to strike. Liademir mostly enjoys being creative and isolated. She finds great solace in drawing, cooking, botany and hunting. Liad is naturally gifted in aspects such as botany, herbalism and medicine, and takes great interest in the idea of being a healer. She also enjoys casually learning more diverse languages as to challenge herself. Character History Liademir was born to her parents who were both of leopard traits. Her parents often looked after her in "shifts", her mother would care for her as her father hunted, and her father would be there while her mother was crafting. She learnt the skills of the huntsman from her father, a skill that she values in her life. He taught her how to survive in the wild and how to stalk and kill like a natural predator. Her mother taught her about tailoring clothes for herself but also a secret passion of her mother's which was botany. Although her parents were around her in their human form for a lot of her life, Liad was allowed to spend a lot of time with leopards in her feline form. She enjoyed playing and hunting with them and often spent hours participating in stealthy hunting contests. She matured at a young age and leaving her parents was no difficulty for her. Liads love for herbalism truly evolved though when her mother was struck ill and she had to return to her home. Liademir aided her father in caring for her mother and often collected various herbs and gathered a diversity of recipes in order to keep her mother well. After the year had ended, Liad's mother passed away peacefully and gave her the pendant she treasures so much. Liads father, although struck with grief, allowed her return to the wilds and be free. He thanked her for her help and told her that her talents could be used to help many others. Liad kept these words close to her heart for years and promised to continue to practice medicine. She eventually found home in Lhavit, a city she treasured for it's divine beauty and glorious architecture. Liad had taught herself to draw and indulges in quiet evenings basking in the sunset's glow while recreating the scenery around her on paper.
