Winter 29 511 AV
As soon as S' Eva entered through the gates of Nyka she finally was looking at her first crowd of people, both men and women, from under the hood of her cloak. Never in her whole life had she seen so much humans.
She then wandered through the city and down a few streets. As she was wandering she had made the decision that this was the place she was going to start traveling from. That this very town was where she would start her journey at. Going along with this thought, she wanted to observe the people and get a feel for what is in the norm around here. The first thing that came to her attention was two men that were fighting in public. Citizens of this place were cheering them on and encouraging this... and most of all it looked like the men were having fun! This was very different to S' Eva. Back in the White Isle her fellow Konti never sought for violence or anything remotely close to that, except for S' Eva herself that is. Besides the fight that was going on, almost everyone was lively and was about it. Her next objective was to go sight-seeing. She looked around and her eyes came upon a young woman that seemed nice. Without even thinking about it she took off the hood of her cloak and tapped the woman on the shoulder.
"Excuse me but do you know a place that would be very enlightening for a traveler such as myself in Nyka?" The woman turned around and was taken aback and seemingly surprised at seeing the Konti woman. Noticing this made S' Eva start to feel insecure but she stood her ground and awaited for the woman's response. After the citizen got over being speechless she gave S' Eva some directions to the Fourth Day Mark and she thanked the woman; But before she left to be on her way the young woman said to her, "I wish I was nearly as beautiful as you are."
S' Eva became shy to these words, "why thank you miss."
The woman smiled and responded with, "welcome to Nyka." And on that note, S' Eva turned around and left to go to the market. As she was walking she continued to observe the people she walked passed and while doing so she accidentally bumped into someone, but being the stubborn person she is, she blamed it on the person and that they bumped into her. By this time she was already a few feet from the market.
"Watch where you are going," She said to the person accidentally in Kontinese.
