Not found on any map, Endrykas is a large migrating tent city wherein the horseclans of Cyphrus gather to trade and exchange information. [Lore]

Winter 85, 511 AV

Two Kuvay'Nas mounted on borrowed Striders rode into Endrykas with a contingency of about thirty other Drykas, mixed men women and children. They split off, riding in all directions reabsorbing themselves into the great city taking the same message to individual pavilions of which they belonged. The Kuvay'Nas rode straight for the center of Endrykas and as soon as they were met by anyone of authority, they'd demand to see the Council having brought an urgent message from Riverfall's Nevar and ultimately the Champion of Avalis.

Once anyone gave them notice, they'd pass on their message.

"The Lady V’nessi, Konti Champion of Avalis, brought forth this message to Riverfall in this tenday past and asked that we pass it on to our allies, especially the Drykas. It is as follows.." One of the Kuvay'Nas said taking a deep breath.

"Storms ripping apart the lands transforming it into shadows of what it once was. Poisoning fields, killing everything that lives and transforming all that survives the onslaught. The land will go infertile unable to bear any fruits or support any life. Vibrant colors illuminating the sky, blinding those that look at it. Buildings crumble into the sea and the pawn becomes a king. The Kings will change the lands forever and the caged beast rattles his cage. The bars are near breaking. The storm ventures on nothing can stand in its path, nothing can stop it. For it is divine it its creation. It will start in the mountains, Windreach."

He paused, letting the message soak in, and then continued. "Nevar urges you to take heed and to go underground if possible. Riverfall will also provide shelter if necessary though there might not be time to make the trip. He says this will happen soon, perhaps as soon as the flaring of the watchtower. You have no time to loose. Act now, and save as many as you can. We will go through a hard time, it seems, but Riverfall will send what aid it can when it is safe to do so, simply send word as to what you need. We will share resources as we can for we have considered you good neighbors these last five hundred years. If the land indeed grows infertile, bring your herds to the coast and we will harvest from the sea and see the animals through the worst of this. Please take this warning seriously." He said, then nodded.

They'd change horses, rest briefly, take food, and ride back towards Riverfall bringing all who wanted to shelter there with them.

Dire Forecasts [Lariat/Open]

With such strong ties binding each drykas to another, and the social environment that was the tent city news traveled fast but even then word of the strangers reached Lthevel's ears only moments before the hoofbeats of their borrowed striders heralded their arrival. What hadn't arrived yet though was the mention of their business here save that it was gravely important. He'd lived a good forty years, long compared to others, and with his age came a sort of stubbornness that was not often shaken. After all who would think Endrykas would ever be troubled so as it was the most secure place to be found in the grass with any threat to it quickly made known by the all encompassing web magic that covered the land.

Now he felt dread though, and hIs heart beat hard in his chest as he emerged from his tent, and raised his hand in greeting as he took in the riders. "Ho, travelers, what business brings you with such haste?" Lthevel inquired and soon he found answers but they brought him none of the comfort he wished to find, only more dread.

In moments the council was summoned around there great fire, all ears attentive to the message that had been brought to them. As the Kuvay'Nas's words came to an end, a man clad it golden hued vestments stepped forwards and banged the base of his spear on the ground to call attention to himself. Clearing his throat, Gevias took in the two riders with his deep brown eyes before speaking. "You have our thanks for your diligence in bringing us this grave news. We have much yet to confer on but time is of the essence and so eat, rest, and take fresh horses from the stables for the return journey for by all that you've told us, you'll need every bit of it to get back in time for safety. Rest assured that I and the others of this council will see our people to safety. We remember the tales of our fathers, of times gone to ground and we remember well the entrances of old. I'll not stop those that wish to go with you, for that is a choice theres to make and I thank your people for their hospitality. This service will not be forgotten." Words where offered after the oration, and the men dismissed to see to their own needs while the council deliberated. There would be much to organize in the coming days, and a role to be played by everyone. Disaster waited to dawn on the horizon, and they had to make sure their people where safe when it rose to greet the land.
