The Cartwrights Lia: Seri Cartwright Pod Information The Cartwrights are a new, very small pod. Two of the current members, Seri and Kohvina, broke from their childhood pod, the Admiralties, when Laviku blessed Seri with Pardisa. The third member, Jiet, had been courting Kohvina and followed. The pod members aren't attached at the hip, and often go off to wherever strikes their fancy, though Kohvina and Jiet are usually together. Lia Seri tends to wander off from her pod, and encourages roaming. Each pod member owns a single Casinor, totally 3 ships among them altogether. The Cartwrights are usually associated with otters, seals, and sea turtles. These animals are more likely to become their Tavan than most, but not always. Beliefs The Cartwrights are strong worshippers of Laviku and Rhaus, though during the full moon they give homage to Zulrav, with the hope of safe travel and calm seas. The pod is very active in celebrating, usually busting out drinks and dancing when there's the slightest hint of good favor. Windy days, beautiful nights, a stormless week, or plentiful fishing. No occassion is too small for a Cartwright to party. They are a helpful lot, among each other. Splitting up money, lending food, the like. They also aren't prone to violence, but aren't above it. None of them are afraid of confrontation. NPC 1 Kohvina Cartwright Age: 19 Female Quick Overview A cousin of Seri, and recently partnered to Jiet. She is a skilled swimmer, weaves some, and has some minor fighting skills. She chose to join Seri, with Jiet at her heels, when Seri received Pardisa. The two are distant in blood relation, but close at heart. Kohvina is the quietest and smallest of the pod, but she could out drink a fish and gamble you out of your most prized possessions before you even knew you were betting them. Her Tavan is a harp seal. He left his previous pod to court Kohvina, and joined her in leaving with Seri. Jiet is large, but could sneak up on an owl, and can talk himself out of any situation. He's the strong arm of the pod, but is surprisingly gifted with scribe skills. He keeps track of the pod's money and equipment in a ledger. His Tavan is a leopard seal.
