Name: D'Lena Gender: Female Birthday & Age: The Second Day of Summer, 482 AV (30 Years) To put in short, D'Lena is very well mannered. Her mother was very strict with her as she grew up, which put her in a horrible situation when she was younger, but now that she has grown up, she is very thankful for the things that her mother taught her. She speaks with a eloquent tongue, watching the things she says carefully, and thinking things through very well. As a child, she was extremely carefree, and some of that still resides in her today, but she tries to put it aside in better of herself. She was born with Rak'Keli's gnosis, and one of the most important things to her is healing, ever since she was young. She heals people too, but most of her patients are animals. Konti Gift: D'Lena can sense relationships between people, and how they feel towards each other. Whether that means they are acquaintances, friends, enemies, romantic partners, or anything in between. The people that she is reading must be at least 20 feet together, and she has to be able to see both of them. When she senses a person's relationship with another, she first sees a white, luminescent, and wispy string that ties two people together. The stronger the people's relationships are, the more prominent their strings appear. Once she tries to concentrate on the relationship is when she senses what kind of relationship they have. She sees it clearly, like words written on the inside of her head. D'Lena was born of the island of Mura to her Konti mother, Delani, and her Etheafal father, Indus. Delani was Called to Lhavit to consulate with the Sun Lady and Moon Lord when she was only a young woman. In Lhavit is where she met Indus, married him, and conceived D'Lena. But, before the birth, they both moved back to Mura, so the baby wasn't deprived of her own race and culture. When D'Lena was born, the mark of Rak'Keli was etched onto her skin, -- rather than Avalis's -- branding her a different fate than her other Konti sisters. When she was about 5 years old, her parents started noticing her love of animals, big and small. More than often she would bring creatures from the Isle home with her. No one could deny that she had a bond with animals that stretched well into her teenage, and adult years. When she was 25, D'Lena got her dream job being a vet for the Opal Order, taking care of and healing the Ivaskis that accompanied their members. D'Lena, and a group of four Opal Order members were sent to the Spires to collect new remedies and information for the Medical Library. On their way there, they were captured by bandits near Ravok, and taken to the city to be sold as slaves. During D'Lena's short time there, she was given almost no food, no water, and very poor shelter. After about 10 days, she was to be sent off to Kalinor for the Symenestras harvest, but while on a ship in the Suvan Sea, they were intercepted by Akalak warriors.
