Personality - Jires is a very solitary being, keeping to himself and outside of cities, but not because he dislikes other beings or races, He is very shy of change and loud noises, including meeting and getting used to other people. Often he will meet random travelers and adventurers only to pass up the opportunity to be with them because he was afraid of what it might bring. Jires is comfortable out in the wilderness and forests much more than packed cities. He is not quick to judge or anger but holds personal grudges towards anyone who breaks his or a friend's hard-earned trust. Jires rarely shifts to Human, if only to talk to other beings.
Ethics - Living out in the wilderness more often than in civilization has made his judgements more along the lines of survival and not a predetermined sense of right or wrong, although Jires understands it. He will protect a random traveler regardless on their appearance from a danger in the wilds as long as it doesn't put himself in a great amount of danger, threatening his life. The opposite it true for a companion or friend though, willing to lay down his life to prevent most if not any harm to be inflicted on them.
Likes - Climbing, People who treats him respectfully, Any nature scenery or marvels of the natural world, listening to tales of places he has never heard of or seen, regardless if they are fiction or fact.
Dislikes - Loud noises, Cities or Large Towns, Being disrespected, Destruction of Nature or natural enviroments, Conflict.
Character History - Jires does not know where or the exact day he was born exactly, because he never thought to ask as his mother and him always roamed the wilderness of Kalea. Not knowing anything about his father other than he was a fox Kelvic, his mother who was a cougar Kelvic raised him on the go. She taught him the basics of reading, but only so much to know the gist of things were as that was all she knew and how to interact with townsfolk in order to gain supplies as the small duo could not live out in the wilderness completely for more than so long at a time. As Jires was reaching the age of when he might leave his mother, a few days after they stopped through Kalinor to get him basic supplies and money, they were set upon a group of monsters as they slept in a cave. Woken up from the sounds of battle he rose to see his mother being eaten alive by the creatures he could not describe. With her last words she told him to run and so he did, only because there was nothing left to save or he would have died trying to fight. A few months pass and the sadness is let out over the time, Jires sets his mind back toward his life remembering one thing that should always come first. Survival
