Well then, I must say I have never come across a roleplaying site quite like this one. So far all I have seen has astounded me and I have 10 years of roleplaying under my belt, from table top (D&D, Vampire the masquerade and so on) to forum (Have a few sites of my own and so on) to live action roleplay, this site has truly caught me off guard. I have no clue quite where to start, which is odd for me so I decided maybe just saying hi and telling the members of this esteemed and astounding site about myself might be a good start yes?

Right well the name is Conor, some here may of encountered me across the world wide web under all sorts of names from Sigmar to Novindus, Lanstrlen(Lan Mandragoran etc) to Typhus the inheritor. I have a bit of a reputation amongst many roleplaying communities as a bit of a slave driver, I like replies and I like them NOW not tomorrow, don't let that put you off though. If you have my trust and affections you'll be fine

So yes, I am a welsh lad, born in Cardiff. Roleplaying has been in my family for two generations not including me in various forms and I have been raised a historical re-enactor, so a complete f'ing nutter who swings solid steel at his friends, for fun lol. When it comes to real life I am a photography student at my local college so my life is chaotic but photography and literature are where my talents lay or so I am told.

So what else to say ... Umm yes any advice you have for me when it comes to making a start on this site would be great, I am considering making a human, namely Inarta so yes, thanks.

Heya!

I joined this site forever and ever ago, but only recently started. Something that really helped me get started was looking at the starting guide, which is available on the main page. Also, I liked to look at other people's character sheets to give me a good idea of what a good character looks like, though considering your experience in other sites, you might already have an idea of that. I've got a bit of experience as well, but knowing what's expected of me on any given site is always a good way to get started.

Anyway, welcome. If you end up in Zeltiva, send me a P.M. and we can have a meet 'n greet. :-)

Aye thank you, I hope it is as enjoyable as it looks.

My experience is with sites less D&D based in the character creation process, very much open to literary skill and imagination, I think I prefer this approach and the detail that has gone into this and aye someday we will have to have a meet n' greet who knows, may happen fairly early on.

Riverfall eh? once I have the jist of the site no doubt I will make a second character, I will bear that in mind if ya catch my drift

Hullo, Conor. Welcome to Mizahar! There's good stuff going on everywhere, and I have a mess of characters, so I'll be sure to harass Sigmar or one of your alts at some point, and feel free to do the same to me and mine!

I'd just suggest you take some time to read as much as possible in the wiki and talk to people to figure out where and how you want to start. I still have to re-read things to remember all the detail of the world that's been written, but I think it's worth it.

I am just reading the wiki at my leisure, learning and just enjoying the literature.

Just to clarify, do I have to wait on acceptance for character sheets or is it just if nothing is highlighted as wrong in an alloted time I am free to go and roleplay? just to clarify

Sometimes I'll post to a thread multiple times a day, sometimes I might get busy and not sign on for a couple. It depends on real life interference for me.

You don't need official approval, but I would suggest you have one of the CS Liaisons and the DS (green name) of the city you're starting in have a look at it before you start. That'll save you the trouble of fixing stuff after the fact. Just my advice, though.
