Character personality/quirks Samuel is soft-spoken, intelligent and possessed of a certain dry wit. Strangers view him as mild-mannered and courteous. His few friends know him as a man of honor and justice. He holds to a strict personal moral code and believes in bettering the world however, whenever and wherever he can. Character History After losing both his parents to the pox as a young child, Samuel grew up moving from orphan home to orphan home before eventually fleeing to carve a path of his own at the age of fifteen Most of his late teenage years were spent scrounging together a living wherever opportunities presented themselves; the one constant in his life was a deeply seated desire to assist those in need, by any means necessary. From the ages of seventeen to twenty, Samuel tutored in the art of unarmed self-defense and attack under a Drakas known to him as Amador. Samuel harbored an intense and deeply felt distaste for manmade weapons, seeing them as unnatural and crude methods of putting oneself on equal footing with an assailant. Amador died on the eve of Samuel's twenty-first birthday after being stricken with a foreign disease. Left with no reason to stay, Samuel left to forge a future for himself, taking the namesake of his former teacher in remembrance of a friend lost.
