A city floating in the center of a lake, Ravok is a place of dark beauty, romance and culture. Behind it all though is the presence of Rhysol, God of Evil and Betrayal. The city is controlled by The Black Sun, a religious organization devoted to Rhysol. [Lore]

Ravok - The Silver Sliver Tavern
10th of Spring, 512 AV

Ravok seemed to never sleep, as the torches that were lit up after dark simply drenched the beautiful city in a warm golden light, as if were just twilight. The roads and canals were just as lively and busy, filled with men and women clothed in expensive, lavish clothing, entering and exiting the many wonderful sections that the city had in store. Despite the endless darkness that filled the sky, the denizens of Ravok continued to act as if the sun was still up. The night was young, after all, there was still time for enjoyment. Some people even begin the action around this time, even. Auguste had his eyes plastered onto the murky waters that filled the canals as he sat in one the tables outside of The Silver Sliver, his eyes scanning the images of the buildings as the waters mirrored them. Everything about the city exuded an aura of romance and beauty: From the uniquely shaped structures that curved, bent, and twirled in such a foreign, untimely fashion that can only be appreciated, to the overgrown ivy that escaped their pots from the balconies they were situated in, and the algae that grew on the foot of the houses much like the pulsating veins of a grown man's bony hand; those simple little things provided Ravok its unique touch, a touch that caressed and tickled. It was a different kind of magic.

Auguste ripped a morsel from the warm loaf of bread he had on his table, his eyes never leaving the beautiful scenery as he nibbled on his food. The common meal he'd ordered was left half-eaten, growing cold by the minute along with the mug of ale that he barely touched. He wasn't hungry, to say the least, but neither was he full. Breathing a relieved sigh, he sat back and continued to admire the vibrant atmosphere, wondering to himself if it could get any better than this. The barmaid from a while ago flashed him a smile that seemed more than friendly, and he did catch a wink there as well, although he wasn't quite sure. "That may be my ticket to an even better night," he mused to himself.

[The Silver Sliver Tavern] Precious Metal (Parah)

Postby Parah on April 16th, 2012, 8:38 am

Parah entered the Silver Sliver, walking timidly and demurely as if she had never visited before. It was something of a complex illusion, one giant game, as she cast a blushing glance at several men; each man only saw her looking at himself, easily caught in her web, thinking she only had eyes for him. That was her true talent; though she had plied many men and women with her body, each of them truly believed they were her one and only, that her sweet blushes and innocent glances belonged only to them. Truly she was lucky to have been born with such a face, for any that truly knew her would realize that her only true allegiances were to her mistress and her gods.

She finished laying the groundwork for the evening, settling into a corner and surveying the tavern. She spied an unfamiliar face; a man. Her eyes were drawn to what had to be the most lovely curls she had ever seen on a male; she fingered a lock of her own hair, escaped from its tie, in near jealousy. He had a loose look about him, and was well built; he would not be as easy to catch as some of the less attractive men. But he was new blood, and Parah would have him and his knowledge for her mistress.

But how to draw his eye, now that the barmaid has made herself known to him?

"Have you tried our famous Silver Sliver, sir?"

It was that same barmaid again. Her voice was smooth, fluid, and sultry, but it remained soft and gentle altogether. Much like a flower, that could easily induce both sweetness and passion at the same time. But she broke his reverie, his little intimate moment with the scenery, and that didn't please him any more than the view did. "Perhaps later," he said simply, his eyes set upon the canal and a passing Ravosala, one that had a pair of lovers half-asleep and snuggling. The person manning the boat sang in such a beautiful voice that it almost induced sleep onto him as well. "I've still some food with me here, thank you," he added softly, as he watched the boat go by. The barmaid, with her rich brown hair set into a braid and her green eyes more than eager to serve, pouted and inched away with a huff. "Not as interested after all," he smirked, glancing over to the barmaid as she sauntered towards the next good-looking gent. "Ah, but of course," he chuckled, his eyes brushing past the features of a very youthful-looking girl. They rested upon her for a brief moment as he wondered what a child was doing around a tavern.

He quickly turned towards the scenery once more, hoping to tune into his imaginations once more, only to find his mind wandering towards the young girl and her youthful, yet captivating appearance. Her image was plastered wherever he looked as his mind continued to wander - or at least, he forced it to wander. But he was continually pushed towards the road that led to her, whose features weren't the kind to take your breathe away, yet they led you to be curious, to be interested. "She's probably waiting for her mother, or father," he assumed, as he purposely fixed his gaze onto another Ravosala that was passing by. The person manning the boat was silent, as the pair of lovers who sat before him sat distanced from one another, both wearing angry looks upon their faces. He chanced a glance from the man running the boat and they both exchanged amused smirks. He furrowed his brows at he man and mouthed, "why?", to which the man responded with a shrug. A chuckle escaped Auguste's lips as they left his line of sight. "Or perhaps, a master?" he thought, as he continued his train of thought. She was dressed rather plainly, she could just be a very young maid.

OOCParah, I can't use any skills right now because I may change them later on, especially Seduction. I'm sorry! So, I may not reply to the thread or respond to your flirting, if you do so. Thanks!

Parah smiled internally, there was the first step, the beginning of the process; the Look. It was arguably the most important stage of seduction; to be seen, to be noticed, and to be seen looking in return. While her curly-haired target's hazel eyes did not solely remain upon her, they continued to return, and this was a good sign.

She moved from her position while he looked away from her, moving slowly towards his table, drifting through the other patrons. How would she make contact? What ought she to say? Thoughts raced through her mind as she moved closer. Or perhaps the nonverbal route would be better? Yes, she thought so. The 'accidental bump.' It would help establish her as clumsy, young, someone not to be worried about. Luckily the barmaid was standing in that general direction, and she made as if she was going to speak to her.

Making sure that she appeared appropriately shy, she approached the barmaid, just just close enough to her target to bump his elbow as he was bringing a chunk of bread to his mouth. Said bread was knocked loose from his hand and skittered to the floor, leaving a few morsels for the mice in its wake.

[The Silver Sliver Tavern] Precious Metal (Parah)

Postby Eke on April 18th, 2012, 10:16 am

Eke brushed himself off after being searched and all around 'felt-up' by the guards at the gate, It wasn't long before he was walking across small bridges and archways and looking at himself in the water. He had finally made it, how he just had to search here for his friend, maybe even stick around and see if he came around.

Trying not to bump into people walking back to they're homes and rushing to and fro, he found himself in front of a 'Silver Silver Tavern' He laughed a little under his breath from the thought of the original owner having some strange speech impediment and it being some clever slogan or something, putting his thoughts aside he opened the door and walked inside, closing it behind him, he walked over to one of the tables and sat down, looking around at the people within.
