Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Spring Day 6, 512 AV Morining
Sytelia woke up in an instant on her inn bed. It was nice and warm, and she wanted to stay in it forever. But soon, her stomach growled, and she got up to look for breakfast.
Sytelia stepped back to scan her area. In a pine forest, she was in the middle of nowhere. Except, she knew that to her west was the city of Mura. She loved these lands and portected them. Calling Maximus from his digging, she broke into a run through the forest. She was dressed in her usual night leather, letting her gracefully make her way through the woods. Her bow was gripped firmly in one hand, arrows strapped on her back. She pulled one out and hooked it onto her bow, though not just shooting it yet.
She made her way farther away from Mura until she spotted something large and black in the distance. She stopped, paused, to examine it. It was a bear, large. She followed Maximus behind a tree to shoot the bear. She told Maximus to go out and get it, and being a highly trained dog, he obeyed. She went back behind the tree, only to hear a loud Yelp! She ran out into the open to find Maximus on the ground, a few cuts on him.
She pulled back her already drawn arrow and fired, nearly piercing the bear in the heart. It was charging toward Sytelia but let out a roar when her arrow nearly killed it. One more shot to go. She pulled out another arrow and quickly fired it. The bear let out it's last roar, but collapsed and fell to the ground dead. Sytelia ran over to Maximus, now whining.
"Shut up you little coward." she said not meaning it. A smile spread aross her face to show Maxi he was going to be alright. |

Lunia was out for a walk around the edges of Mura, near the surrounding forest. She enjoyed the scenery and all the plants. She loved plants and would take care of one if she saw it was unhealthy.
Now she was just strolling, enjoying the warm day, the sun was out, her scales her glittering and she had a good feeling about today.
She had been walking around the edge of the forest for some time now when she thought she heard something in it. Like a yelp, or cry. She titled her head and listened harder. Then she heard a loud roar, coming from something big. Frightened Lunia backed up a few steps, but continued to listen. She thought she heard a sound of talking, though from where she was standing it was more like a whisper and she couldn't make out what was being said.
She could tell though, something in that forest was hurt. her gnosis mark from Rak'keli told her that. Something in there needed her help. Being the healer she was she could not resist trying to help and started her way into the dense wood.
She was a little ways in when she saw a flash of white. She peered closer and noticed it was a female Konti bent over something. She's hurt! Lunia thought and rushed out to help the girl. But when she approached she saw it was not the girl who was hurt, it was a golden dog, and he was bleeding, badly. |

Sytelia looked up when she saw the other konti approaching. She felt threatened, at first, but settled down when she realized she was looking to help. She scooted over a little over the dog to let her feel him. She had no skills in medicine, all she knew how to do was bandage things.
She asked, "Thanks. But, do you know how to help him?
She reached down to touch Maxi, luckily there wasn't a spot of blood on his pelt. When his skin touched hers, she closed her eyes and a shiver went down her spine. He had a few scratches, but his front left leg was broke, snapped. She opened her eyes, still queasy from the bone sight.
"His leg is broken. Oh, please, will you help him?" she asked again. She loved Maxi, and couldn't stand seeing him hurt. |

Lunia was glad the Konti quickly scooted over to let her in. She touched the animal and saw that it had a broken bone and external bleeding. She smiled at the Kontis question of how she could help.
"I am blessed." Lunia replied simply gesturing to the swirling blue gnosis mark on her cheek.
Turning back to the animal she frowned. With her mark she could easily close the scratches that she could visibly see on the animals body. the broken bone, on the other hand, was going to be more difficult. Plus another problem was that she didn't know what was broken, a rib a leg? The other Konti answered her question and Lunia assumed she could tell what injury's an animal had.
"Don't worry he will be fine." Lunia smiled a reassuring smile.
It was always important to make sure the patient knows everything is okay, even if it isnt. In this case though the dog would be fine. They would just have to carry him to the Opal Temple to get his leg fixed up right.
"I can easily heal the scratches, I can set the bone as well, but I can't heal it. We need to carry him to the Opal Temple for them to heal it right away."
Lunia got to work stopping the blood flow and disinfecting the wounds all the while closing them with her healing powers. |

Sytelia was a little uneasy when she saw the blue mark, not knowing what it was. She assumed it meant she had two konti gifts. She tried closing up the wounds with leaves, but it didn't work. She sheathed her bow and pressed the leaves onto his scratches. Oh well, maybe it will make him feel better. Maxi wasn't whining or anything, just letting them fix him. Sytelia watched as the konti patched him up. She did it gracefully and carefully, but swift and fast. She knew exactly what she was doing.
The konti told her to lift Maxi up and take him to the temple. Finally, something I'm good at!
She put her left arm under Maxi's chest while supporting his bottom with her other leg. He licked her on the cheek as if saying, Thanks! She asked the konti if she could pick up her backpack, then started walking. As they walked, Sytelia wanted to know the girls name. But, she wasn't really a conversation starter, so she let the other konti do the talking. |

The girl seemed confused when Lunia told about her gnosis mark. She felt the need to explain while she magically healed her dog.
"You know, gnonis marks, marks from the Gods to either bless you or curse you. This one is a blessed mark, given to me when I was born by Rak'keli. It lets me heal magically, instead of using bandages or something like that." She liked explaining what it was, she never had to before, most people already knew what a gnosis mark was. She didn't know there was someone who didn't.
The girl was pressing leaves to the dogs scratches, Lunia laughed internally and politely pushed the girl aside. "Leaves are not going to do anything, his scraches and bleeding will be gone in a minute." Lunia gently layed her hands on the dogs wounds. She felt the energy of Rek'kali flow through her and out onto the animals wounds. They stopped bleeding and closed beneath the girls eyes. Lunia smiled and when she had closed the wounds she set to work on the leg.
"I can't fix broken bones with magic, like i said, I only have one gnosis mark, when I get two from Rak'keli I will be able to but now I just have to base it off my knowledge."
Lunia quickly glanced aside and picked up a small, but striaght stick and got out her healers tooklit which she carried around everywere. She took out the bandeges and placed the stick on the broken leg, surcureing it there with the bandges.
"Now we need to carry him back to the Opal Temple, they can fully fix him there." She carfully picked up one side of the dog while the girl picked up the other.
"My name is Lunia by the way what's yours?" |

Sytelia felt a little stupid for trying to mush leaves onto Maxi. Oh well. She isn't the best healer, but this girl certainly knew what she was doing. She brushed Sytelia aside and simply touched the dog. What is that going to do? she thought in her mind. But she new that whatever the Konti was doing, it was going to help.
Within seconds the scratches vanished. Was she a magic user? Sytelia always despised magic. It was alien to her. But, she did explain that it was a mark from the gods. Oh, that explains it. But Sytelia didn't believe her. You can't visit the gods! They are pure spirits, watching over us from above. In fact, they are probably laughing and drinking kegs of beer as they watch us try to fix this dog.
She watched as the Konti got out a medicine supply and wrapped Maxi's leg in bandage. She winced as the dog let out a little yelp. They picked him up, then started walking in the direction of Mura. It wasn't long until the Konti asked her name. She said hers was Lunia, which was very pretty.
She let them walk for a bit more until she finally responded. "I am Sytelia." |

"Hello Sytelia." She smiled brightly, "You seem a bit confused, about the gnosis? it's simple really. When I was born Rak'keli visited me and placed this mark upon my cheek, blessing me with her healing gift. She saw something in my that she liked and thought I would use my healing for good--which I do." She added. "Any more questions? I'll be happy to answer." She smiled again at the girl as her poor dog yelped again.
They had come onto the path now and were heading to the Temple which, luckily, was not that far away. The building was in the girls sights and this dog was heavy.
The bone break was pretty messed up. She could tell it was shattered in many places and it probably hurt, a lot.
"This is the first animal I have helped, I am young, only 19. You are older right? i think I saw you in school, everyone always loved you." She vaguely remembered Sytelia, she was always surrounded by friends. |

Lunia explained a little more in-depth to Sytelia, who was somewhat confused after the explaining. She still didn't believe a god visited her, but didn't want to insult her. Instead, she picked up the dog with Lunia and started walking.
It was a little hard for Lunia to carry Maxi, Sytelia could tell. They walked toward the building which was already in sight. By now, the sun was up a little further but not all the way above them. The birds were chirping their brilliant songs. She could hear the rustling of squirrels. Yes, it was a nice spring day. She took a deep breath, sucking in the fresh forest air. It filled her insides, aking her nice and relaxed.
But she was interrupted by Lunia telling her about her childhood. Yes, she did have many friends. She smiled, remembering the days where she would just get to school and suddenly be bombarded by her friends. She loved them, but preferred animals.
She remembered Lunia, but barely. She never had spoken nor talked to Lunia, she would keep to her friends only and look in disgust at the other Kontis. But that was when she was a kid, now she was a mature woman. She shook her head, that was the past. She believed in worrying about the present, not the future, or the past.
"Ha!" she had to laugh. She continued, "I remember. I also remember you were shy." she smiled. |

"I'm surprised you remember me at all. I am younger than you. But I guess you are right, I wouldn't say shy though, more quiet." She smiled, remembering. Yes she was defiantly quiet and she could see how Sytelia thought she was shy. But Lunia held her head high and looked people in the eyes, she just didn't talk. They approached the Temple then and the dog was quickly whisked away.
"He will be fine, they have even better Gnosis marks then i do, stronger, an can heal that bone right up." She longed for a second mark, to better help people, but she knew she would have to prove herself to Rak'keli first. "You can go up with him if you like."
Today was a good day, she said to herself, She healed, she helped someone who needed the help and she felt pure and good inside. She was also tired and wanted to go home and sleep. The healing had worn her out a bit. |
