Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Spring Day 80, 512 AV

It was early in the morning. The sun was on its way up, reaching for the sky. Almost summer, you could feel how the temperature was getting higher for each minute. Riverfall was awake, its residents were all on their way to work, and the mood was joyful. As a small wind went by the gates, a clumsy white tiger cub were on his way out of the city. There were happiness in his big blue eyes. Daemon had a lot of energy, he couldn't wait for summer to come. He was eager to feel how it was. Already the bushes were getting greener each day. To the left he could see the Vineyards. This was not his destination today. He wanted to go for a swim, cooling himself down before he did anything else. That was why he turned right, towards the Bluevein River.

When he left the path, he was walking on grass. He loved grass. It had such a good scent to it. His tale hanged loosely behind him, relaxed. His fur was not as white as it should be. Other than the black stripes, he was full of dirt. All over. He could have taken a bath at home, but when he got up, it was occipied by some random girl. He wishes his brother would stop doing that. Bringing strangers into their home. They were always polite though, thinking he was sweet and cute. He yawned, and showed his string of perfectly good milkteeth. It could not be long before he started to get his adult teeth. Then he would be fierce. By the very thought of it, he stopped and snorted. He would no longer be the sweet little cub, and everyone would fear him. Filled with ecstatic eager he took a deep breath and let out a loud roar.

The sound got carried away by the wind, and while he was still a cub, it would travel far away. Very pleased with himself, he reached the bank of the river. It had a strong current today. He could see it. His sight was sharp, sharper than most. Especially humans. Daemon put his rather big paw into the clear blue water. It was very cooling. Without any other notice he growled and pounced into the water in a big jump. As if he had seen a fish he wanted to catch he dived under the water, let the current take him a bit down the river. His paws started paddling, his hindlegs kicking off in the water.

When he reached the surface his snorted once again, to remove the water from his nostrils. Impossible to smell anything with water all over. Still swimming, now against the flow, he held only his head and top of his shoulders above water. His eyes quickly spammed the area for others, finding none, and he decided to go to the shore. It took a lot of force to get to land, but his body was perfectly shaped for swimming. At least for a short time.

Daemon got off the water, jumped towards the grass and landed on his belly. Still very clumsy. Playful he rolled around on his back and let his legs strut in the air for a short period. He then rolled around on his stomach, crossing his frontlegs in front of him and started licking them dry.
