89th day of Spring 512 AV, Day of Illusions
The Festival was so enjoyable throughout the past few days and the only question Bob could ask himself was why did it have to end already? Compared to the other days with monsters, golems and storms, this was the best time he had in Alvadas! Hopefully what he felt with the festival at that point would not be the same as what he was going through with one of his old friends he did not expect to find in Alvadas of all places. As much as he did to to make their recent meeting...normal? He knew that she was not too happy with the way he left her back in Syliras.
At least he stuck with her throughout his time in Syliras just like he was trying to now. He could have asked any other person to follow him as he tried to make the most out of the last day of the Festival like...like the bird (not!) Yes, even if Bob went to the bird's coop, he was nowhere to be found but somehow Bob found the nothing instead so instead of thinking of another candidate and wasting more time trying to get through the fickle Alvadas, he decided to just ask "have you gone to the Festival yet?" because if she has she would not be hanging around a tavern to save himself some time and sanity.
For a while Bob did not feel like saying anything unless his companion wanted something, acting as if he was finding the correct route to the Festival through a method would beat the city for once. It was only when he caught sight of the Temple, the one thing that he saw remained constant throughout the Festival that he allowed himself to celebrate "we're here. What do you want to do first?" before walking on until they found something that would only be suitable for the last of anything good. Like the last cookie in the jar.
Passing by a few very beautiful paintings, melodies and dances Bob just mentioned that "the whole of Sylira didn't have anything like this unless there were some things I have missed in Syliras?" forgetting that that was the one topic that he did not want to talk about.
