Who: Chamaeleon

Chamaeleon's head was throbbing fiercely under Syna's light. Ever since her time in the Fog, much of which she couldn't remember, she'd been feeling extremely strange. Nothing had seemed to help, and it even persisted when she was in her moonlit form. She was on the Medical Petal, looking across the gap at the Temple. Even from here, she could see all the beautiful plants, and the stunning blue butterflies that filled the air around it. She found herself wondering what it would be like to have the wings of a butterfly.

And immediately following the thought, she saw movement in the Temple. A beautiful, fair skinned, sand blonde haired woman moved to the edge and looked back at Chamaeleon, smiling. She slipped off the temple, and for a moment, Chamaeleon thought she was jumping off. Until she saw the bright turquoise wings fluttering behind her, carrying her over the gap toward the horned woman. Her face was soft, kind, and gentle, and she was looking directly into the Ethaefal's eyes.

She soon passed the point of nearness, and immediately crossed the threshold of personal space, her gaze never wavering. "Child of the light, you are not feeling well, are you? And you haven't been for some time now?" This brought forth several memories since her recovery from the Fog. Her head hurt constantly, her lower back always ached, she found herself vomiting up her breakfast every other morning. There was even the occasional tenderness in her breasts, a sensation she found a bit more disturbing than the rest. Sore muscles, upset stomachs, and headaches could be explained with some of the knowledge she had in the medicinal arts.

The Akvatari woman reached out, smiled softly, and placed her hand on Cham's lower stomach, "Child, you carry another light within you. What a joyous surprise, a day worth celebrating, celebrating indeed."

The Light of the Star Within (Chamaeleon/Closed)

Chamaeleon strained under Syna's light to receive some sort of familiar comfort as she had during the Spring. There seemed to be none.for her, however. Not now. She felt a great sense of loss for the lack of comfort her Mother once provided her in full. There was a feeling of hopelessness that she couldn't revive the feelings Syna once gave her. She wondered if she had annoyed her mother goddess for being lost in the animal of the Symenestra's identity.

The blue eyes that disnt change removed themself from the sky, and she found herself looking down and into the Temple of Caiyha, where beautiful blue butterflies tumbled around one another in their wandering, whimsical dances. She couldn't help but smile, charmed by their radiant little innocence, and did truly wish she could be like them, with their wings and their bright little souls.

Her eyes circled the moving mass of wings before alighting upon a sight that caught her off guard. It was a beautiful woman of fair skin and fairer face, with the blonde hair that Chamaeleon remembered wearing herself for so long.

The woman caught her eye, staring straight into Chamaeleon's, which made the Ethaefal unusually uncomfortable. Ever since her sojourn into the heavy fog that so corrupted her essence of self, she had responded to stimuli in ways that often surprised her.

The woman unfurled butterfly wings, something that amused Chamaeleon when she recalled her most previous thoughts, before winging her way up, up to the Medatative petal.

Her words of greeting, if any even came at all, were forgotten in the invasion of personal space that had Chamaeleon leaning back, bracing herself on her palms, trying to keep the weird woman with wings and a furry tail at least a moderately safe distance away.

"Excuse me?" Chamaeleon almost growled beneath her breath. The words of the weirdly shaped creature brought up a confused twist of memories that, honestly, made the Ethaefal feel just a tad bit nauseous all over again. She equated the sensation to stress.

Suddenly, weird-butterfly-furry-woman reached out and lay a soft hand on Chamaeleon's lower stomach. A chill stroked up her spine in response to the words that followed, and blue eyes narrowed in irritation.

"What is this that you mean?" She replied to the woman, almost snapping but forcing her anger down just enough to make the tone pass for urgency, or something. "'Another light'?"

Some things occured to her about what the woman thing could have meant. Dreadful things, and a few joyous ones that were just as questionable to begin with. She furrowed her brow to force into the confused mess of memories salvaged by the woman's earlier words, hoping to find some answers, but feeling mainly flesh memories and quick bursts of sensation like echoes of something greater.

What was this? Did the butterfly woman mean she was sick with some creature's offspring? That wasn't a cause for celebration!
Spider, spider.

The Avkatari woman took Chamaeleon by the heads, and began pulling her toward the edge of the Petal, "You know what I speak of. You are a mother now. Come with me child, I want you to see something." Vines moved out from beneath the Petal, providing a temporary bridge for the wingless woman. Suequorti led her over to the Temple, and pulled her inside of the wondrous garden. She led her through the exotically colored flowers, past the strangest beasts, around trees of unique shades, and into a clearing, filled with several Jamoura women and Kelvic women alike. The area was surrounded by ivy, purple tinted leaves, with hanging flowers of a lime green hue. The air was full of floral delight, and just being here revitalized and soothed the Ethaefal woman.

Suequorti led her to a rock to sit upon, and gestured for her to do so. The Kelvic women were all naked, as all their kind tended to be in The Spires, and all in various states of pregnancy, with one ready to burst immediately. Suequorti fluttered to the center of the grouping, "All of you were impregnated while under the effects of the Fog that put our city into turmoil. I know that many of you are troubled by this, since the fathers are unknown to you, and may not have been your mates. But this is not a curse, not an ailment, not slight against you. These are children of our Goddess. She's a fair goddess, and she knows that this is a glorious thing for you. Bright Ears, come here, you too Chamaeleon."

The heaviest of the pregnant woman stood up slowly and approached the priestess. "It is about time child." The woman was dark in skin, heavy with child, but still strong, lithe. Chamaeleon would see her that her ears were a much lighter skin color than the rest of, as the woman laid down upon the spongy grass. As soon as she was comfortable, almost as if on cue, water gushed from her womanhood, and her breathing began to grow ragged in nervousness, eyes darting around seeking help. "Chamaeleon, it's time for you to help bring a life into this world, a life that was gifted unto us from the Fog and the Goddess, a life you have within yourself, just like every woman here."

The Light of the Star Within (Chamaeleon/Closed)

Postby Chamaeleon on August 27th, 2012, 2:25 am

Chamaeleon felt the Akvatari seize upon her horns, something that she could admit had never once happened before, and she tried to shake the other woman off, the attempt futile at best. The Akvatari was stronger than she appeared, but before Chamaeleon could test her strength against that of her unusual assailant, she wad being pulled out to a bridge of vines. Discomfort nagged at the flimsy grip she had on her worried stomach as she realised she was suspended far above the ground with nothing but a woman with the wings of a butterfly her salvation.

Swallowing, she relented in her attempts to free herself from the grip the Akvatari had upon her, following meekly, at least until she touched the loamy grass at the other end of the bridge. The scent of the clearing was beautiful, washing away her worries with a delightful aura. She saw things she had never seen before, was introduced to tall, discolored trees, plants and animals that had strange shapes and properties, and Chamaeleon felt as though she were lost in one of her bizarre dreams.

Until she saw the seemingly human women and the Jamouran ones, Chamaeleon could have been comforted by the strange sights and explained this while thing as her mind playing tricks at her. She saw the swell of the stomachs of each and every one of these Kelvic women, and gave up on her denial. She couldn't imagine any other reason to be here, at this random joining of the pregnant females, other than that she was truly pregnant herself. A visible slump of her shoulders said all that had to be said about her acquiescence to this fact. She was pregnant, by the divine whim of whatever god, and had no say in the matter. There was a child in her body, a light within, that she could raise to love Syna and Leth as much as she did herself.

She would have been happy with accepting her fate, if it hadn't been for that Akvatari.

The woman placed before Chamaeleon was visibly frightened, at least to the eyes of the Ethaefal, but before she could utter the first soothing syllable to calm her fears, a torrent of fluid burst forth from her bared womanhood, shocking the Ethaefal into backpedaling, but kneeling as she was, she leaned back instead.

The Akvatari said something about bringing new life into the world, and Chamaeleon reacted by cringing.

"What do I do, then?" She said to the other, her voice both alarmed and oozing frustration. She looked to the Akvatari for her guidance in this task, this gift.
