47 th of winter, 508 AV
The air was cold with the chill of snow fall in the north, although Endrykas had moved far south to escape the harsh winter there was no doubt that the season of ice was in full swing elsewhere. Zoonnith had barely eaten for the past few days and was starting to feel the effects; he had food but was trying to ration it out, as the harsh season guaranteed it would be hard to find more on his own. “Maybe I should try to get a hunting party together...” he spoke to himself as he watched the sun set from atop a hill just outside town, “I will worry about that tomorrow, for now I must head home.” He got up and headed towards town. Reaching his hut just as the last few rays of sun vanished from the sky; he sparked a small fire and laid down in his warm bed.
The next morning when he awoke it was just as cold, quickly hoping out of bed and getting dressed the chill morning air had little time to affect him. He left his tent and looked around, there were many people around any of which may want to go on a hunt but he could not just walk up and ask people. For one that would take too much time and effort, and two he was way too shy for that. Instead he headed to the center of town towards ‘The Raised sun’ Pavilion, “they always have many jobs and workers available there” Zoonnith thought to himself “maybe they will know of someone who wishes to go on a hunt...”
Entering the Pavilion Zoonnith looked around; there were maybe 8 or 9 Drykas inside, and a few others from different races including a Jamoura and a Chaktawe. A tall, slender man stepped up to Zoonnith "And what work to you seek?” he said in a warm and inviting tone.
“I wish to either start or join a hunt, would you be able to help me?” Zoonnith questioned
“I am sorry we currently have no hunts, and I have not personally heard of anyone wishing to go on a hunt today. Perhaps if you ask around someone else would know more.” The man replied
“Ah dam” Zoonnith sighed “I am far too shy to ask random people, maybe tomorrow then” he turned around a left the pavilion highly discouraged.
