Built high in the massive branches of Taldera's bloodwood forest, The Spires is a city crafted by the peaceful and scholarly Jamoura. Considered a haven for scholars and sages Mizahar-wide, The Spires is a mecca of philosophy and science that draws people from far and wide with its promise of deeper thinking and higher reasoning.

Becoming One With Caiyha [solo]

Day 40th of Summer, AV 512

Eldon felt lost. With the chaos of the Djed Storm fading, Eldon felt a strange sense of purposelessness, and yet, it was a peaceful sort of feeling. It was like feeling you were summoned to cure a blight, then finding your job completed and yourself now taskless. Sure, his play in the survival of the Spires was rather small in comparison to many of the others, but he felt that he sacrificed, if nothing more than effort, sweat, and time, for the sake of this place, the Spires. He stood in silence below the city. The great wooden petals above him, almost perfectly hidden in the canopies above, and if he hadn't just come down from the place, he would have never noticed the place there.

Soft inhale. Eldon felt the clean air push gently into his lungs, and for the first time in Gods-know-how-long, he was just standing there, enjoying the feeling of the wind caress his skin. For the first time in a long long time, Eldon was able to feel the soft moist grass on the soles of his worn rough feet. For the first time, possibly ever, he was able to look into the wilderness of Mizahar, and not be paranoid of the dangers that were all around, but see the beauty, unflawed by personal fears and hardships, that was everywhere. Eldon smiled, and perhaps even giggled to himself as he closed himself and fell back into the soft dirt beneath him. This, as he learned from the Jamoura, was the kingdom of Caiyha.

As a Drykas, he had always worshiped Caiyha, but she had always been second to Zulrav, and even Makutsi had her times of dominance over Caiyha (as the Drykas often went several seasons without rainfall). But here, Eldon truly felt like he was connected to the Goddess, Caiyha. She wasn't just some name you thanked before you killed game and took back to feed your people. She wasn't just the Goddess to ask for blessing before you went out on a ride to find a herd of Olidos. Here, it was like he was invited into her Pavilion, like he was given her water to drink (instead of having to make his own, just to ensure he had water to drink), and a comfortable place to relax. Relaxation, it was something he wasn't familiar with. Be it in Endrykas, his brief moments in Syliras, or on the road traveling.

Call him Crazy, but Eldon truly felt like he was becoming One with Caiyha. Like, he was truly starting to understand who she was, what she stood for, and how he was a part of her.
