She doesn't try to escape. She was born as a slave and that's what she was meant to be. She just wished she was born as someone else. Someone free. Character History Aoife was born into slavery in summer and it was hot. That's what she remembers in the early years of her life. The heat. Her mother was beautiful pearly skin and honey colored hair and a sweet smile. The woman was beat to death for hiding her child from her master, who Aoife rightfully belonged to. Aoife's father is unknown to her, but she acquired his silver-green eyes. Her mother's eyes were blue. Aoife wasn't beat as a child because she knew how to do her job well. She was the hand maid of the master's wife, who adored Aoife. However, her masters were old and died soon after Aoife would have become of age to marry if she was free.
