A lot of free time on my hands

Hello everyone, my name is Brad. Technically, I'm not new to this style of role playing; I used to be a part of a few message board rp's a few years ago and I loved it, but then I had to start working and I acquired hobbies and interests and rping subtly faded from my day to day routine.

I've got a new life now though, and tons of free time. Me and my girlfriend sold almost all of our stuff, packed what we could into our and our dogs backpacks and we've been living on the road for about a month now. Thanks to all of the amazing modern technology available to us, we can still stay connected to the internet from almost anywhere and so I've decided to take up rping again.

I chose this site out of a few that I found by googling and what not for a few reasons. First of all, I have never seen an rp site with such a consistent and large selection of original content. I am seriously amazed and in awe of how much time and effort must have gone in to creating and maintaining this site (And I've only glanced through.)

Well, that's the main reason.

And a little bit about me just because: I'm 20 years old, an artist and musician, I love reading and writing and other mentally stimulating activities. I live on the road as a sort of vagabond with my girlfriend and our 2 dogs, and I may be homeless but it was by choice. We had jobs and an apartment but we voluntarily gave it all up for a simpler life (And it's payed off.)

If anyone has any questions about life on the road or about me or anything I strongly encourage you to ask. We don't get much social stimulation anymore so every little bit is welcome.

Well we were pretty fed up with the daily grind. It was just get up, go to work, come home and go to sleep to get up for work again in the morning. We've always been free thinkers and wild at heart, it's one of the tings that drew us together. As for money, we have a decent amount in the bank and we plan on tree planting for money next spring, and after that, assuming we still love this lifestyle as much as we do, we will fly to New Zealand and bum around there for a couple months. We don't spend much money anyways, we gather as much food as we can from the environment (plants and animals,) and what little food we do carry with us is very cheap to replace (rice, oatmeal and dry food for the dogs mostly.) We're trying to do without as many modern comforts as we can (Excluding computers lol.)

Ha never had anyone call me that before, but I do get hippie a lot being a long haired guy and whatnot. I'm gonna write that down in my journal so I remember.
