Character's Name Johnny the Rooster Basic Information Race: Kelvic Birthday & Age : 21 Gender: Male Physical Description Ever so slightly red skinned, stubble-chinned, yellow eyed coupled with a sharp, pointed nose - Johnny favours a crazed appearance. His dry cherry hair is windswept into a tangled and wild style which sticks out unpredictably and just the right length enough to curl behind his ears. Standing at around 5’10 and weighing just about 150 pounds, his build consists of both muscle and fat, although predominantly more muscle than the latter, his upper body exceeding the strength of his legs causing his chest to puff outwards like a cockerel. Character Concept Typical of a cockerel, Johnny Rooster is a proud (if not slightly arrogant), brave and masculine Kelvic. He enjoys a brawl with anyone who dishonours his reputation and is viewed as an uncontrolled, sporadic and energetic daredevil with a foolishly optimistic outlook on his life. Full of youth, he prefers being outdoors and on the move and is as stubborn as can be. Despite all of this, he does look to impress others and prefers being surrounded by friends instead of enemies. Spontaneous, reckless and downright impatient, Rooster is a man who will strive to achieve his goals at whatever the cost may be. Capable of causing harm to others, killing is not something he would consider doing unless for revenge, whereas as more ‘petty’ deeds such as stealing from the snobs and burning down a villain’s home are absolutely okay. He may be chaotic, but he is noble hearted and good natured. Character History Johnny was born in the wild lands of Sylira, to a loving couple of Kelvics - His father being part eagle and his mother being part dove. At the tender age of three, Johnny was able to transform into a Rooster at will, but only tended to do so when frightened or threatened - a sort of defence mechanism to hide from the frequent raiders who threatened their Kelvic household. One fateful evening, a small group of blood crazed Dhani, seperated from their family stumbled across their home and slaughtered his parents - Johnny being only young transformed into a Rooster in fear and was left unharmed. Not truly understanding what was happening, he fled to a nearby farm and lived amongst the farmer's chicken coop. Many years passed and he simply forgot his human form, feeling much safer as a chicken. The farmer he lived with was a drunk and a downright pyromaniac, often up till early hours dancing around huge fires screeching to the gods. It was not uncommon for him to leave these fires uncontrolled for an evening and to wake up with his entire wood supply missing and the grass surrounding his house scorched black - but this did not discourage his obsession. It took Rooster 17 years of living in this form (outliving his grandchildren and surprising the farmer with his long life span) till he put an end to his master's tyranny. It was when the farmer threw chickens into the fire in his drunken rage that Johnny felt an emotional urge surge through his feathered body, an urge so powerful to protect his coop, to fight his ground. He transformed into a naked 17 year old boy, crying and full of rage. Johnny tackled the farmer into his own fire, and fled the burning farm, confused as to what had happened to his body. It was a few months before the Kelvic understood his true nature and remembered his repressed childhood and the Dhani. Ever since, he has sworn revenge against the Dhani and retreated to a forest within the Wildlands where he could live in solitude with the remaining chickens from the farm.
