This forum is an OOC forum for PCS and Organizations to work out plans in hardcopy. Each PC or Organization gets a single thread where their players can help work out plans for their PC. Quests, mini-sagas, and Trips can all be organized here as well working out timelines and points of travel and things PCs need to do along the way. Each PC however gets only one Plotnote for their individual PC. Groups get one as well. There is no limit on individuals posting saga or trip plotnote threads. Please denote [PC Plotnotes] or [Group Plotnotes] or [Quest/Trip/Saga Plotnotes] when titling your threads.

Looking Ahead


General Plotnotes


Not necessarily in the order in which I want to implement them

  • Acquire new body!
  • Find the romance novel his father dropped in the canal (maybe through flashback?)
  • Find/contact relative(s), in Ravok or elsewhere (flashback?)
  • Ethics degrade
  • Difficult decision between evil, good, or conflicted
  • Dexter makes plans to ascend to godhood (in the far, far, far, far, FAR future, after many magic disciplines have been mastered), probably won't succeed at all, may die in process (as a dramatic end to his story when I leave Mizahar?)
  • Can't roleplay very much during school year, when summer is out I should find a "vacation spot" for Dexter until the summer
  • Plan for new body:
      1) Put effort into a well-written and developed NPC of high social status in Ravok
      2) Write a thread/series of threads about Dexter carefully stalking him and learning everything about him
      3) Dexter finally kills him, inhabits his body, and impersonates him to gain access to the Institute of Higher Learning
      4) He learns all he can about magic, interrogation, etc. before being found out
      5) Must make an escape from Ravok with the Ebonstryfe close behind?
  • Maybe instead he just writes Valerius Nitrozian a note of good health in return for access to the Institute
  • Cough up ichor during therapy with Valerius in current thread, realize body is still physically ill

Travel Locations


  • Psychiatrist occupation conflicts with Mizahar's survival setting -- go on a dangerous journey to remind Dexter it's a harsh world out there
  • Travel plan: travel on foot/horse from Ravok to Nyka, then either continue to Zeltiva to study, or use a merchant vessel to travel from Nyka to Sahova (either way definitely want to study at Zeltiva and Sahova sometime in the future)

    • Wilderness Survival (travel/survival)
    • Writing (keeping notes/doing research)
  • I should try to train in these skills as well:
    • Anthropology (part of character concept is to be amateur anthropologist)
    • Archaeology (complements anthropology/reason to go on a quest)
    • Copying (keeping notes/doing research)
    • Cryptography (hiding sensitive research)
    • Drawing (sketching in notebooks for research)
    • Disguise (taking victims by surprise)
    • Hunting (hunting potential victims)
    • Intimidation (avoiding conflict by threats)
    • Leadership (psychiatry/complements hypnotism)
    • Mathematics (need a general knowledge for magical research)

  • Flux, Morphing, Voiding, Alchemy, Animation, Glyphing, Magecraft, Malediction, Summoning, and Webbing are all future possibilities
