Time to get to Work (Solo)

Jeram could hardly believe that spring was over. It was most definitely the worst season that Ravok had experienced possibly ever. Just by walking to the Vitrax, you could still see the destruction that the Temple of the Black Sun had gone through. It was a devastating sight but it was no excuse to get lazy. The funny thing is that the Vitrax had taken severely less damage than the temple had. Nothing more than broken windows and and some big cracks here and there which were easily fixable.

Jeram was not going to let himself get weak after the hard times that the lovely Ravok had just faced. He had to bring his training flail with him of course because his normal one would demolish the training posts that the room had scattered around it. He quickly walked up to a post and claimed it as his own for awhile. A deep breath could be heard from him as he say down his practice flail and began stretching. As he started his warm up stretches he could see all of the other apprentices and soldiers practicing in the room. It was great to see the mighty force that is the Ebonstryfe all together training in this room, making themselves stronger.

After he had spent several minutes preforming various stretches and positions he faced the post and put his fists up. Jeram had made sure to put wrapping around his hands as to not damage them against the training instrument. Another deep breath was taken and a firm stance was made as Jeram's fist collided with the post. The first punch was always exhilarating and he loved it. As the hard collision that was Jeram's punch happened against the post all he could imagine was that the spot he was hitting on the post were the faces of all the Rhysol haters in the world. Some of the Ebonstryfe in the room were probably looking at Jeram thinking that he was crazy. All you would see is a man punching a post, except he was doing with such anger and passion that you would think he had a personal grudge against the post itself.

Along with the punching came chops and other varieties of ways you can hit something with your hands. A sweat was definitely building on Jeram's whole body and he realized it was time to take his shirt off. "That's better" he uttered under his breath as he flexed himself. He figured that was enough upper body training for now. Jeram quickly got into another stance as he fiercely sent a kick to the post. He made sure to switch legs every time he kicked the post so that way his legs wouldn't get used to it very fast.

There were several different ways that Jeram kicked the post. Along with doing the basic sideways kick he made sure to add some variation. There short short ones, long ones, kicks using the thigh, and more involving the lower leg. He even made sure to hit it with the back of his legs from time to time. Lower body training itself went on for another good half hour or so. There was definitely some pain felt in his arms and legs but he knew that he had to keep going. After a very small break he got back up and was ready to get back to training.

Time to get to Work (Solo)

Jeram looked over to the nearby advanced training dummy, it looked like a much greater challenge to his training so he figured that he would use it himself. These were the best thing to train with as they moved when you struck so the challenge of actually landing a hit was greater. Sometimes he thought it was amazing what technology was able to do. No time was wasted as his fighting stance was again made and he made his first strike on the dummy.

As expected, the dummy quickly started moving around like an actual person would when struck. He quickly reacted and relocated his first to where the dummy was moving and struck again. Jeram soon realized that when the dummy moved this time it would be very difficult to hit it with his hand so his right leg swiftly shot up and smashed into the side of the dummy. It was such a great experience fighting a moving opponent, even if it wasn't actually a person. A small chuckle was heard from Jeram and the dummy felt his wrath over and over, punches, kicks, and even sometimes a headbutt, all coming towards his target when he felt like it. Considering the fact that this was much more fun than a simple training post, Jeram was able to keep this up for a good hour or so.

As much fun as he was having he had to stop. If he wasted all of his energy on the dummy then how would get to the rest of his training? The next thing Jeram looked at was his trusty practice flail. It was about time that he started getting to work with that. After he gathered his flail he walked over to a simple training dummy this time and smashed it in the face with his flail. His flail was a little heavier than a normal one so it wasn't as fast, though it was a lot more devastating.

Even though the weapon he was using was wooden, he could still feel the fierce shaking from the dummy. It was still a slightly dangerous weapon and left a loud crack every time it collided. Along with striking the dummy from different angles he also switched up hands every once in awhile just for the challenge and to train his body even more. It was a challenge to use a weapon in your off hand but it's very important in case you ever needed to do it. Over and over again Jeram would smash his weapon into the dummy as hard as he possibly could. Every once in awhile you would hear a small crack form in the dummy or the flail but he didn't really care.

If he would start paying attention he might notice that his weapon had begun splintering even more. Jeram would give his flail one more mighty swing before it shattered at the end of it's wooden chain and flew in every direction. "Oh dear." he stated as he looked at his weapon scattered over the floor. "Oh well, I can always get another one later if I need to. I should probably get something to eat soon, but that can wait until i'm done." Jeram said to himself as he got ready yet again for even more training.

Time to get to Work (Solo)

Jeram was now starting to feel the wear and tear of his training. It was getting a little harder to take but he was fully determined to push himself to the limit today. He quickly felt his arm muscles as he flexed and realized that he needed to training up his muscles some more. It would be bad if he let himself get soft. The Vitrax training room didn't really supply body building equipment but luckily he brought his own. In order to not get in the way of the other people training he made sure to go into a corner of the room which didn't have any training dummies or posts near it.

Before he would start lifting actual weights it was time for a little warm up. Of course he had to do more stretches because he couldn't let his body get stiff on him, which he did for about five minutes. Now Jeram was ready to do some of the easier stuff. He shot down to the floor and began to do push-ups. After doing about twenty reps of basic push-ups he switched to doing clap ones for another ten reps. Once his push-ups were done he went on his back and did a good thirty reps of crunches as they weren't really that difficult but were great for building up abs.

With his stomach now feeling a slight workout pain from the crunches he figured it was time to move on. Jeram quickly laid on his back, put his arms behind his head, and started lifting it up to his knees and started doing sit-ups. They weren't really his strong suit so he only got about fifteen of those in before he wanted to stop. After he finished those he stood up and cracked his neck and then looked at his weights as it was now time to use them. He figured that the first thing he would do was some reps with his dumbbells.

Jeram had two dumbbells and he lifted up each of them, one in each hand. Each one of them weighed a good thirty pounds and he hadn't worked out in awhile so it was a little hard at first do lift them right. Once he was in a good sitting position on a nearby bench he began to do curls, switching arms every time he did one. His target goal was to get 15 reps with each arm which he did accomplish soon enough. Though he wasn't done with the dumbbells yet as he stood up and touched them together at his waist. He then proceeded to move his arms outward to a stretched out position, moved them back to his waist, and then repeated the process. This was continued a good ten more times as his put the dumbbells back down and was ready to move on.

Jeram had noticed that he had been leaving out any type of leg exercise so he figured that's what he would do next. After he put his dumbbells away he then pulled out his ankle weights and attached them around, well his ankles of course. They weren't terribly heavy, weighing only ten pounds but they got the job done. The first thing that he did was start jogging in place. Normally jogging wouldn't do very much but the ankle weights really increased the work out that it would normally give. After he jogged in place for a good twenty minutes he then sat back down on the bench and did leg raises for another twenty minutes. It was easy to now see that Jeram was pretty much covered in sweat at this point as he had been training for a good time.

Though he was ready for a break he decided he needed to do a little more before it. Jeram laid down on his back and began doing bicycle kicks with his ankle weights still on. After about ten minutes of that he decided that he could now take his break and took the weights off of his legs. After that workout that Jeram just had it was time that he went on a little break and got something to eat. Afterwards he would probably find a good sparring partner.

Time to get to Work (Solo)

The first thing that Jeram needed to do now was to pack up all of his equipment. Once he had packed up all of his weights and gotten his shirt back on he walked out of the training room. He would have to go somewhere else to eat as they didn't have much of a mess hall around here. While lifting weights and working out was the main way to train your body, you also had to consider your diet. He had to make sure to eat a lot of meat in order to keep up his energy and help his body grow in size. He figured that he would go to the good old Silver Silver Tavern in order to have his meal.

After a couple hours had passed Jeram had returned to the training hall at the Vitrax. He had spent a good three gold mizas at the tavern filling himself up. Now that he was filled and and a little more refreshed he was now ready to find a sparring partner. His body hadn't fully recovered from the workout earlier but that was good as it would help him train his body even more by getting into a fight. He spent a good minute looking around the room for a good person to spar. He didn't want to fight a person that was too equipped as he wanted to have as much of a fair fight as he could, or to pulverize them if he absolutely needed to. Eventually he spotted another Ebonstryfe apprentice like himself and walked over to him.

"Hey, you!" Jeram announced as he walked over to the other apprentice. "What do you want?" Was shouted back at Jeram by the other guy. "How about we have a good spar to train ourselves better?" "Sounds like a plan to me!" Without much warning Jeram would see a sword flying towards him fairly quickly. Luckily he already had his shield on his left hand and his actual flail in his right. The very first thing that he did was hold up his shield to the incoming sword. Luckily he had a full sized steel shield which was well equipped to take on a simple slash by a longsword.

After the shield had blocked the sword Jeram had quickly followed up by bashing the other apprentice with his shield. The other man wasn't prepared for this and stumbled backwards. Jeram could easily tell that this guy was built more for speed than power. Along with his longsword in one hand hand he had a smaller wooden shield in his other hand. After what had just happened he would try to do a counterattack with his flail. What he had not counted on though was the man blocking with his wooden shield which the flail would get stuck in. Jeram had quickly calculated though and sent another bash with his shield while also pulling back on his flail.

The plan had worked and with a little force the flail had gotten unstuck from the shield. Though the man had recovered faster and was already sending in a blow with the blunt side of his sword. Jeram was not prepared for this and the blunt part of the man's sword had whacked him good in the side of the leg. He had quickly fallen towards the ground but not before the man had sent a knee to his face and knocked him backwards. The kick wasn't terribly hard and it didn't take him very long to recover but it had caused a small amount of bleeding from his nose.

After getting back up Jeram could see the man charging for him again but with the pointed edge of the sword aiming for his torso. He took this as an act of trying to kill him and responded by swinging his flail at full force. The flail had connected with the man's sides and sent him to the floor. Luckily he was wearing pretty heavy armor so the blow wouldn't be fatal. "I recommend that you go to the healing hand and get yourself looked at" Jeram said as he spat towards the man before walking towards the door. His training was now done for the day and he was ready to go home and relax for a bit. It was starting to get late so he would probably be going to bed soon.

Notes:
Mizahar doesn’t really have “technology”. The advanced dummy you described might possibly be a product of Animation, but even then, such a thing would be far too valuable to use for training.
