Set off in a quiet corner of the Valkalah Institute, the Chevan Art Gallery is both a prestigious display center for artists and a legitimate place for locals to buy art for their homes. Placed in the basement of the Valkahal Institute, the gallery has a roomie two thousand square foot showroom that has paintings, drawings, statues, sculptures and a whole host of assorted things placed into its spaces. Windows cast light on works of art while torches cast a glow on darker corners. Often the gallery is crammed full of student work, each artist hopeful that someone will see their art and purchase it. But there are other times when the gallery clears out and hosts special showings of just a singular artist or group of artists. During festivals the gallery often goes to a 'themed' setup where specific gods and goddess' are honored or even particular color schemes. In the Spring, there is a huge glass show where the artists of Wind Reach send their winter-made products to Riverfall to sale. Most items are pre-sold, though the larger pieces are still on consignment from Wind Reach glass artists.
