New Guy looking around

Hello Everyone,

I'm a friend of Morgan's (Griffith) know him from the same SW's RP. I'm checking stuff out over here too, and it looks pretty intense. Name is Casey by the way. I have done DnD for 6 years and a text based SW's RP for over 2.5 years and looking for something new to branch out.

I'm still getting a feel for this place, though it looks really well founded and built.

I am going to say from the start to anyone whom i interact with here that I am color blind so sometimes things on these boards or in chat do not appear to me depending on the skin I am using and font color of others. Is there a skin that works best and creates highest contrast that anyone could point me towards?

I live in the midwest and am 24 years old. I have my BA and am looking at going back to school in the next year or two. Anything else just ask, and I'm usually pretty open. I use FB chat, Skype, MSN, and Aim, not a fan of Ajax chats as I usually get distracted easily and tend to ignore them.

What DnD system do you use?

Welcome! I said hello to you in chat but you must have been distracted. I hope you enjoy yourself and find lots of interesting things to do. We are, however, a big fan of AJAX chat because its free to use. And free... mind you... is a very good thing for what it provides.

Yeah Gossamer, >.< sorry about that. I was on skype with Griffith and he was helping me with my character creation and working on my character sheet. I usually have 5 programs open at once and my browsers have anywhere from half a dozen or more tabs open so I'm easily distracted away from Ajax.

Thanks all for the warm reception, I'm still working on the character creation aspect. I'm looking at a Mixed Blood Drykas/Human. Though am still trying to flesh it out. Any Drykas I should be aware of, or give a holla to possibly for guidance?

I'm most comfortable with 3.5 DnD though I have dabbled a bit in 3.0 and 4.0 DnD.
