Whaddup everyone! I'm Josh, though my online name is poisonbite01, poisonbite in some sites, and Slyphen Rezarf on Fanfiction.net! Feel free to look me up on there, deviantart, or any other RP sites you may be on (I may be there, probably not, though)
I've been rping since....8th grade? Probably seventh, actually. I'm in my third year of Community college now, so that's, what? 7, 8 years of rping? I love D and D, WOW, Munchkinquest, anything by Bethesda or Valve (not a fan of TF2, thoguh), and Minecraft. When I'm not glued to a computer screen I'm either studying or working four hours a day, every day except sundays, teaching Tae Kwon Do to kids and teenagers ^^ I love martial arts and anything to do with it.
When i'm RPing, I don't like reading anything bigger than two paragraphs. I will if I like where the RP is going, it's infrequent, or it's an intro post, but other than that...I feel like it breaks the flow of the RP. An example I've often used is my character walks in after having woken up, and asks his roommate if there are any sandwich fixens in the fridge. Said roommate proceeds to flashback to the previous night, where he had a wild party and adveturous romp with some girls outdoors, and then came home, and ate all the food in the fridge. He then ends the post by saying "Nah, man, there ain't nothing in there.
I like reading. I really do. Salvatore and Rowling have made me into the RPer I am today haha, but...that's just too much. I could have gotten the same impact, understand, and knowledge from "he looks up and his eyes dart about, looking shifty, and says "Nah man, there ain't nothing in there." " Maybe then I would ask why, then there would be a good time for the flashback. Do you know what I mean? XD
Anyway, I like to write, I like to read, and will usually give at least one meaty paragraph, hopefully two, rarely more than that, unless I'm RPing a fight with an NPC or two that I can control.
Fight scenes where I am in control are where I live. I can write and choreograph very well, in my opinion, and I love doing it. Give me a guy with a sword, three orcs, and agiant, and I'll entertain you for a while. I like playing hand-to-hand fighters mostly, though.
So, yeah, my name is josh, I like fight scenes and martial arts, and am looking for some fun!
Oh, and I have a question. How come when I load up a page where I can post a reply, my cursor immediately enters said reply box? It makes it so that whenever I open a thread, I'm immediately at the bottom. What the heck?
