Aiden, Season of Summer, 12th Day, 512 AV
Aiden nodded at the woman, his light brown eyes never breaking with hers. "I suppose you are an extremely busy woman. A little attention not related to work couldn't be
that bad," he teased, accepting her refusal of his services.
"I don't need anything too extravagant," he began. "All of the supplies I have are on me here, so I don't require much in the way of room. I've got enough mizas to live a few seasons here as long as it's not terribly lavish. I suppose one room with a simple bed and chest will do. If I find I enjoy it here, I'll surely have to bother you again for a more permanent residence." The effeminate man crossed his small arms, petite fingers tapping against his upper arms. "A stand?" he mused, contemplating the idea of it for a moment. While there was a lot he could do, he didn't think himself talented enough in any one area to really run his own stand. After a moments pause, Aiden continued. "If there is nowhere already established in the city, then it would appear I don't have a choice, do I? I would prefer to work under one who could help me improve my skills, but I suppose I should get used to relying on myself in a city like this, hmm?" He smiled gently at the woman, before nodding once again.
"I've kept you plenty busy, so if it would please you, let's discuss the rates of these two? Simple housing for a season, and a stand, almost a beauty parlor, I suppose. What will it be?" He dug into his bag, pulling out his coin purse, ready to count out the needed amounts.
