Kyra curled the deer meat and scurried off, the crowd grew thicker and more alive, as the people started to race and rush against each other. Looking back, she noticed that Tock was yelling and pointing towards the stall vender. She tilted her head, and watched for a bit, wondering exactly what was her friend up too. She started to go to her, and see if she was in trouble and needed her help. However the new buzz in the crowd kept her back, and so she just waved her hand about so that Tock would know which direction she left in. Turning around, Kyra noticed someone standing close by. It was the man from the day before, the one they had attacked and injured in the alley. He didn't seem to notice her at first, but upon a second glance the blonde hair, turned silver by the rays of the sun, caught his attention. There weren't many in the city with hair that bright, and although the makeup was gone, it was still obvious that she was the same girl. His eyes widen as he stared at her, but his injuries kept him from making any quick movements. Kyra winked in his direction and disappeared into the alley. She continued on, looking for a place to sit and enjoy her meal. Suddenly she found herself face to face with two large men blocking her path. She wasn't sure who the men were or what they wanted, but as she spun around she saw the injured man standing at the other end of the alley. The large jacket he wore covered most of his body, but the bandages he wore underneath were still a little visible. Kyra spun around again, as the men moved closer to her. One reached out, snatching the food she carried, as the other roughly grabbed her and lifted her off her feet. "Get off of me! Put me down!" She growled, wiggling in his arms and leaned forward, snapping her fangs at his face. The men only laughed, finding the girl's struggle amusing. Kyra growled louder, finally bringing her head down against his as hard as she could. The man groaned, as he felt her forehead smash into his and quickly released her. Kyra stumbled as she found herself on the ground again. The effects of the head butt, taking it's tole on her as well. She tried to shake off her blurred vision as she fell back against the wall, trying to keep distance between them. "Did you really think you were going to get away from me, little mouse?" The injured man, said as he slowly walked closer to them. His movement was slow, and stiff, the look upon his face easily gave away the pain he still felt. Kyra pressed her back against the wall, she hissed loudly as she stared between the three closing in on her. "I'm going to find your friend, and I'm going to make her bleed ever so slowly. But you..Oh I'm going to take my time with you little mouse. You're about to get a real good petching." |
