Physical Description
Illani is a Konti women who barely looks a day over 16. She has the long, silvery blonde hair you see on so many Konti women, and violet eyes. Her hair is wavy, almost curly but not quite, and she usually wears it loose. She is a small women- only 5'3 and 110 pounds- but her eyes are filled with a passion you won't find many places. She has her gills and webbed feet and hands, like all Konti women. In truth, she is rather beautiful, but for a long scar, from her neck to her thigh, and her slightly crooked teeth. She has a thin face, but you are always drawn to the fiery look in her eyes when staring at her. Most of the time, she smiles easily with a big, contagious grin that's lopsided, just slightly.

Character Concept
People bigger and stronger then Illani- most people- tend to scare her slightly on first contact, making her seem shy, although she really isn't. She deeply worships Avalis and Laviku. She is incredibly laid back and down-to-earth. To her, life is just something you have to roll with. With her easy laugh and many jokes, she's just someone you almost have to like. But she has a bad side- When she gets mad, she gets really, really, furious. Anger spews out of her. Her tongue is vicious as can be. But luckily, that doesn't happen too often.
Aside from that, not everyone really enjoys her ready sarcasm. Her sense of humor is ironic and dry, but it's funny and everyone laughs when she starts, just because of how contagious is it. Like all Konti, she has a gnosis mark (From Avalis)

Character history
She grew up on Mura, with a large family of aunts, half-siblings, cousins, and of course her mother. Her father was an traveling salesman who never stayed in one place for too long, but in this case, stayed until she was 3. With little to worry about, Illani grew up a peaceful life.
Except for one day, when the bandits attacked. Her and her older sister, her only full sister, were out playing alone. And then, it happened, before they knew it, they had been robbed, and attacked. Ignoring her own deep cut for her sister, who had been damaged far worse then her, protecting her. As she stared at her sister slowly dying, desperately trying to do something, her sister was dead in what seemed like a minute. And that's where she gets her scar. And that was when she decided to become a healer. If she had been a healer, Illani decided, her sister might have survived. She turned to meditation to calm her body down, and surprisingly, it worked.
For the next 10 or 20 years, things proceeded as they should. She slowly got back to normal, save for the long scar from her neck to her thigh.
But she longed for adventure. Though she was never a girl to dream big or over the top- Illani was fond of reality checks- she knew she didn't want to spend her life on Mura, surrounded by the same women, same Konti, day in, day out.
And so, she threw everything she had away, and was headed to Riverfall to find herself and what she wanted there. For the time being, she's a healer.
And whenever she feels lonely, she just touches her scar and remembers her sister. That makes it a little better.
