Physical Description
Amola stands at five feet four inches, weighing around a hundred thirty pounds-- give or take a few depending on the day and the hour. She has dark brown, almost black hair, which she usually wears down and loose. Despite being only half Chaktawe, she possesses the black, irisless eyes of her mother. While she inherited her mother's eyes, she inherited her father's skin-- a light gilded color-- and the powerful pheromones of an Eypharian woman. She will occasionally don a pair of feathers in her hair, in an attempt to show that she's still a part of her tribe, even if they will not have her.
Amola lived the majority of her life as an Eypharian noble's slave, and she still dresses the part, mostly due to a lack of knowledge on how to dress otherwise. As a slave needs to show their master's wealth while also not stealing the limelight, her attire is usually well-made, but modest. Her clothing is usually dyed with warm or earthy colors. She favors sleeveless robes and modest dresses, though has come to understand the merits of warmer clothing from her time traveling in Sylira, such as cloaks and long-sleeved shirts with woolen hose. Amola's clothes are all meant to be stripped quickly, so as to allow unrestricted morphing, if the situation demands. Amola also owns a suit of studded leather armor, which she's had dyed black. Regardless of what she's wearing, she always wears the same short leather boots.
Amola usually carries a kukri in her belt, though the weapon is more for show and utility than for combat. She also wears a hunting knife on the opposite side of her belt from her kukri. In addition to her overtly displayed weapons, she wears two metal bracers, one of which-- the one on her right arm-- contains a hidden crossbow. She usually carries an extra two bolts for it in a pocket. Her right boot also contain a pop-out blade, which deploys by a lever on the left side of the inside of her shoe, which is pulled by her big toe.
Character Concept
Amola has only recently freed herself from the bonds of slavery, and it is apparent in her lack of knowledge of the outside world. Most notable is her seeming lack of direction. After escaping from her master's captivity, she sought out her mother's tribe, only to be forced to leave because she lacked the natural adaptations of a true Chaktawe. Having been deprived of all established support systems by both her escape and her self-imposed exile, she made the decision to travel North, hoping to find a place where she could begin anew, and without judgement.

History
Some men are made slaves, and as such, are graced to know what freedom is before it is stripped away from them in its entirety. Amola never had that gift. She was born into slavery. From the moment her mother Halona gave birth to her, her fate appeared sealed. She was born a slave, she would grow up a slave, and she would die a slave. Crippled by the knowledge of what she had delivered her child into, or perhaps just from the trauma of the birth itself, Halona died shortly after giving birth to Amola, leaving her in the untested hands of her younger sister, Enola.
Enola raised Amola like her own flesh and blood, shielding her from the dangers of the slave quarters, but no matter how hard she tried, she could not protect her from Jaqrid of the North Winds, their master. Jaqrid seemed to take a special interest in the child, going out of his way to observe her and her progress whenever he visited the slave quarters. While he treated the rest of his slaves little better than cattle, he always seemed to offer a special reverence to Amola, though he always made certain to address her in Common.
When Amola turned ten, she started to get jobs around the household. She would clean up, draw baths for Jaqrid and assist in his bathing, help him dress, and wait on Jaqrid while he served important guests, where her lack of knowledge in Arumenic served as an attractive quality. Jaqrid only ever taught her what she needed to know for her duties, which included simple phrases and hand gestures which he would use to command Amola to fetch things during his meetings, where he would refused to be seen as weak by his use of the Common tongue.
Amola's servitude continued on uneventfully until she reached thirteen years of age, at which point Jaqrid acquired a new slave, a Konti seer named Iashu. Amola was instantly intrigued by the woman, and they quickly made fast friends. Iashu was in no way pleased by her new state, and instantly honed in on Amola as her best avenue of escape. A young, impressionable mind, Iashu whispered sweet promises of freedom to the girl. She said they could escape, but only if they worked together, and Amola listened to her. Iashu then took her under her wing, teaching her the little she knew of magic and Nader-Canoch, on the condition that they would help each other escape when the time came.
When she turned sixteen, Iashu pulled Amola aside and informed her she had discovered Amola's paternity, an issue that had haunted Amola for as long as she could remember. Iashu explained that she had the ability, as granted by her mother, Avalis, to see the children of a person by making physical contact with them. After making contact with Jaqrid, Iashu had been filled with images of Amola. This served to explain the kind manner in which Jaqrid treated Amola, and also opened up a wonderful opportunity for the pair to exploit in their escape.
Amola plotted their escape slowly and methodically, trying to find the perfect opening in which they could escape, but over the course of the next two years, not a single opening big enough for the two of them appeared. Every route that presented itself had room only for one of them-- the other would have to be left behind so as to ensure the escape of the other. As time passed, Amola's desperation increased exponentially. She began to revisit options.

Now free, Amola sought out her mother's tribe, having been told stories of them by her aunt Enola. She found them in the old ruins of Ahnatep, collecting crushed marble for their face paints. She explained her plight, and they accepted her, remembering Enola and Halona from their days in the tribe. However, her acceptance was short-lived. The moment they headed out into the desert again, Amola became a significant strain on the group, lagging behind the full-blooded Chaktawe due to dehydration, an issue prevented by the full Chaktawe's water bladder. Lacking the desert adaptations of her kin, Amola exiled herself from the tribe, so as to prevent herself from causing more harm to them than she already had.
With nowhere to turn, set off to the North, yearning for a place she could call home.
