Character's Name: Seyp of the Bone Shamans
Basic Information

Race: Myrian
Birthday & Age : 15th day of Fall, 490 A.V.
Gender: Male

Physical Description
Seyp is just slightly above average height, standing at 6’ 1” tall and has tanned skin. His medium build suggests that his life as a Myrian warrior is a secondary desire. Dark brown eyes tend to cast an emotionless glance to those he meets, and full lips tend to only curve in a smile when he is working on a new trinket at his home.

Seyp can generally be found wearing dark colors, using shades of grey and black. While this generally makes the summers in the jungles even hotter for him than most, Seyp doesn’t seem to mind. His gear usually consists of his backpack, which holds the skulls of his mother and father inside, and a long metal weighted chain, dangling at his hip.

Character Concept
Personality- Seyp is generally a quiet individual, showing no real outward emotion save for when he discovers a body part he finds could be useful for Malediction purposes. Even after people have gotten to know him, they find his comments in conversation to usually be short and to the point.

Ethics- Whatever ethics Seyp has, only seems to extend to the citizens living in Taloba. Everything else tends to be viewed as a source of potential parts for his practice. He tends to be obsessed with continuing the work that his mother and father did before their deaths, and only troubles with Taloba will tend to take his attentions away from that.

Likes- Potentially powerful parts for Malediction purposes. Successfully creating a useful item from Malediction. Human, the other white meat.

Dislikes- Frail or weak body parts. Disastrous results in Malediction.

Character History
Seyp, of the Bone Shamans, was the first born child, and the only off spring of Fel and Cian, two prominent Malediction users in Taloba. The fact that he was a male, born into a society that was matriarchal in nature, seemed to disappoint his mother, Cian. At first, she treated Seyp with the care one would treat a stray dog. She would feed him, give him subtle pats along his head, and then focus on her practices of Malediction. His father, on the other hand, took a greater interest, and from the time Seyp could comprehend what was being said to him, his father began teaching him the secrets of Malediction. Seyp created his first item at the age of seven, a bone dagger from a jaguar’s leg. The weapon itself seemed overly simple in nature to Myrian warriors, but those who used it found themselves moving more silently when stalking prey, and moving slightly quicker when they closed in for the kill. It was then that his Seyp’s mother began taking a keen interest in Seyp, and for the first time, Seyp was actually happy.

For years, both his mother and father taught him the rituals, and what potential benefits certain parts of a body could hold. Several items Seyp produced wound up cursed, but his mother still saw within him a gift that could be nurtured, and saw him as her heir her knowledge of Malediction. The full tutoring under his parents, wouldn’t last. Seyp was shocked one day when Myrian warriors came to his home, carrying the bodies of his mother and father with them. It had seemed that a large battle with a group of ambushing Dhani had taken place, and both of his parents had perished in the battle.

It was then that Seyp began to develop his almost emotionless demeanor, and dived fully into the notes his mother and father had compiled over the years. Upon special request, Seyp was allowed to keep the skulls of his mother and father, so that they may always be with him, and view his steady progression into what was considered a family practice.
