During the Valterrian, the landscape changed dramatically. Mountains rose almost overnight and whole cities vanished beneath the inland flood. To anyone looking at a cartographer's map, they would not help but notice how The Suvan Sea looks like one giant crater. The violence and short period of time involved in creating that inland sea was not without its own repercussions. When the salt waters of the southern oceans flooded the main continent of Mizahar, the tidal wave was incredible to behold. It destroyed both major commerce areas and killed most of the population of the world. Here and there, overflow from that epic event created captured pools and marshes of salt water that couldn't quite be contained within the center of the world. Pavi Lake is one such location, and to date, the largest ever discovered. It is an large inland lake that runs quiet deep and is completely filled with salt water. Due to its salt water nature, strange structures towards the shoreline rise up, coated with heavy concentrations of salt. Pavi has an incredible almost alien beauty about it. And due to its unique nature, strange and wondrous creatures live within it.

Some even claim to have seen a lake monster, with a long serpentine head and huge humped body swimming through the cerulean waters. Others have claimed to see finned humans singing incredibly beautiful songs at sunset and sunrise. Pavi Lake is large enough to hide a multitude of secrets. It's also strange enough to spawn a thousand rumors.

15th Spring 510 Av

The young male sighed softly as he stood on the edge of the water. As far as his eyes could see he saw the odd lake holding still as if time had no meaning. Pavi Lake, a lake formed after the Valterrian, a time of death to many yet a time of great wonders and rich story telling.

The young male stood around around 5'8 or so. Light blonde hair along his head with blue eyes peering out along his tan skin yet his body looked a bit too thin as he moved around limping slightly. If one saw past his cotton pants they would see a scar along his right leg down to the foot itself but he always had on some pants with a shirt. The leather boots stood out the most in his outfit as he had no weapons of any kind on his body just what was on his back.

He was in a odd mood upon this fateful day. A mood of wanting to feel the blood rush in his veins and to hear the cries of pain but he blamed that on lack of sleep and just the fact he was going with cabin fever with being in a shop and home all the time working yet that work paid off.

Yet he saw no soul in sight and that made him sad on some level but few came to the lake he knew. It was just such a odd thing to see in most eyes but he would wait around and see what played about.

Pavi Lake - Insane ideas (open)

Postby Sapphiere on June 28th, 2010, 10:07 pm

Sapphiere had been walking for some time now, clearing her thoughts. She felt very distant from everyone. Like her mind wasnt set on something , it was just floating around deciding on what she wanted, and needed.

As a child she'd come to Pavi lake with her family, she used to swim here with her sisters... But everything was different now, more difficult. She walked down, out of the forest and on to the sand surounding the lake, and sat at the banks of it. looking our around her, taking it all in. It had been such a long time she needed a moment. Out the corner of her eye, she saw someone standing a few strodes away from her. She jumped to her feet, feeling a bit starteld, she colected her self, and picked up her bag she'd put down near the forest.

"Hi, I didn't see you there... I'm Sapphiere Knight, its a pleasure to meet you, sorry if im disturbing you though."
