Physical Description Alech is tall and toned thanks to his farming lifestyle, standing around 6'2", and 174 pounds. He is usually seen adorning the common Benshiran attire of a loose fitting, ankle length tunic when out and about, however depending on the severity of the heat will often times just don an airy pair of pants and worn leather sandals. He is not opposed to walking shirtless and enjoys it quite a bit, but the hot sun usually halts such tastes. Facially, he prefers to keep a light stubble, and his hair shorter than most mainly to be kept out of his eyes, and to stay cool when tilling the unforgiving soil or harvesting crops. Like other Benshiras, his eyes are a flowing variation of blue, contrasting with his overall dark complexion.
Character Concept A humble farmer, Alech, feels as though his faith in Yahal is leading him to leave his home in Yahebah and travel across Mizahar. Unsure as to where he will go, or what his purpose is for doing so is still unclear. His name is a variation of the common name, "Malech", meaning clever.
Personality While quite devoted to Yahal now, even Alech has had a few slip ups. If you knew him, no doubt you would call him polite, or trustworthy, but like any male his age, he enjoys things that aren't quite as "pure" as the Penita scrolls encourage. For the most part, Alech is loyal. He's protective, and a bit possessive for those he cares about. He is a great companion to have if you need anyone to watch your back or require help. However, during his teen years, he discovered women. Knowing that seduction was one reason that the Benshira's nearly experienced their downfall, Alech tries extremely hard not to fall for those he shouldn't. His flaws are simple. He loves woman. Of all kinds. His affections are probably more innocent than many, but there's weakness there nonetheless.
He's a tad naive and will believe lies fairly easily. If you put those together, it's deadly. He also has a fear of thunderstorms. Call it what you will, but the few that he's encountered in his life time has left him tense and irritable. Other than that, he does not fear much, but has a slight aversion to poisonous creatures, mostly snakes and scorpions.
Linguistic Ability
A History of 24 Years Born into a lower-middle class, farming family, Alech knows little of what it's like to be lavished with the finer things in life. Instead, he grew up with two traditional Benshiran parents who take great pride in their race and religion. Brought up worshiping Yahal, Alech was raised to do the right thing and lean on faith when able to. He has two younger sisters and is the second born child. His brother, the first born, passed away as an infant, and never had a chance to know him. Because of this, his mother and father put a heavy pressure on him to marry a good Benshiran girl and establish himself. Alech is indifferent to the idea, but would rather take things more at his own pace and enjoy life. Alech is far from lazy, and works very hard for his possessions. When not in the fields, or helping his mother with chores, he can he found indoors playing with his younger sisters, or singing them songs. In return, they tell him stories, or attempt to teach him to dance (which he fails miserably at).
