Physical Description
Standing at 5'5, she weighs around 49kg, with a lithe frame.
She has long, silky black, straight hair with hints of red, that
flows to her waist when not tied back.
Her slender frame hides sinewy muscle under, smooth, wintery
skin. Her almond shaped, usually, green eyes, rest in a high
cheek boned face.
Character Concept
She is a hard worker, rarely complains, and tends to think more than speak.
This does not mean that she isn't very prideful, outspoken when she finds
something unjust, and at times, is quick to anger, but her usual temperament
is cool and respectful.
Deep down, she only craves some sign of affection, or acknowledgement, and
is filled with a deep loneliness. When she is on her own, she is usually found
practicing various skills. Often, she goes to high places, and will sit still on a
rock, listening to the wind or absently singing a nameless tune.
Character History
Her father, a young Endal, fell in love with a visiting Vantha woman, and
so he courted her. As he did, the woman, her mother, fell in love with him as
well.
However, she had to leave before the winter months, and so disappeared on
a silent, autumn night. Heart broken, her father never married, and the
following winter, the woman's family brought a child, baring his eyes. He was
told that the child's mother had died in childbirth, and that she had wanted her
child to grow up with her father's people, and so, Kiyono came to Wind Reach.
Sadly, her father died in an accident on the cliffs when she was only of the age
of three. So, she was taken to the nurseries, and by the age of 10, she began
to live apart from the rest, choosing hidden corners or places among the
undiseased Deks. As she grew older, she was shunned and ridiculed for the
difference in her appearance, her skin and hair from her mother's people,
instead of the fiery hair of her father's.
Being treated as an outsider, she attempts daily to gain the recognition of her
community, though because of the views of others, she has yet to be claimed
as an apprentice.
